I will establish my covenant as an everlasting covenant between me and you and your descendants after you for the generations to come, to be your God and the God of your descendants after you.

I will make my covenant with you last forever. It will be between me and you and your family after you for all time to come. I will be your God. And I will be the God of all your family after you.

And I will establish my covenant between me and you and your offspring after you throughout their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and to your offspring after you.

“ I will confirm my covenant with you and your descendants after you, from generation to generation. This is the everlasting covenant: I will always be your God and the God of your descendants after you.

I will confirm my covenant that is between me and you and your future offspring throughout their generations. It is a permanent covenant to be your God and the God of your offspring after you.

主又说：那些日子以后，我与以色列家所立的约是这样：我要将我的律法放在他们的心思里，写在他们的心上；我要作他们的神，他们要作我的子民。

其实他们所羡慕的是一个更美的，就是在天上的家乡。所以，神并不因他们称他为神而觉得羞耻，因为他已经为他们预备了一座城。

在那日，耶和华与亚伯兰立约，说：“我已赐给你的后裔这一片地，从埃及河直到大河，幼发拉底河，

我要行走在你们中间，作你们的神，你们要作我的子民。

因为这应许是给你们和你们的儿女，并一切在远方的人，就是给所有主—我们的神所召来的人。”

也不因为是亚伯拉罕的后裔就都是他的儿女；惟独“从以撒生的才要称为你的后裔。”这就是说，肉身所生的儿女不是神的儿女，惟独那应许的儿女才算是后裔。因为所应许的话是这样：“到明年这时候我要来，撒拉必会生一个儿子。”

他说：‘我是亚伯拉罕的神，以撒的神，雅各的神。’神不是死人的神，而是活人的神。”

他向我们列祖施怜悯，记得他的圣约，就是他对我们祖宗亚伯拉罕所起的誓，叫我们既从仇敌手中被救出来，就可以终身在他面前，无所惧怕地用圣洁和公义事奉他。

他们要在这地上安然居住。我向四围恨恶他们的众人施行审判之后，他们要建造房屋，栽葡萄园，安然居住，他们就知道我是耶和华—他们的神。”

他又说：“我是你父亲的神，是亚伯拉罕的神，以撒的神，雅各的神。”摩西蒙上脸，因为怕看神。

他们是以色列人，那儿子的名分、荣耀、诸约、律法的颁布、敬拜的礼仪、应许都是给他们的。

他记念他的约，直到永远；记念他吩咐的话，直到千代，就是与亚伯拉罕所立的约，向以撒所起的誓。他将这约向雅各定为律例，向以色列定为永远的约，说：“我必将迦南地赐给你，作你们应得的产业。”

神又对摩西说：“你要对以色列人这样说：‘耶和华—你们祖宗的神，就是亚伯拉罕的神，以撒的神，雅各的神差派我到你们这里来。’这是我的名，直到永远；这也是我的称号，直到万代。

你必按古时向我们列祖起誓的话，以信实待雅各，向亚伯拉罕施慈爱。

我要与他们坚立我的约，要把迦南地，他们寄居的地赐给他们。

他扶助了他的仆人以色列，不忘记施怜悯，正如他对我们的列祖说过，‘怜悯亚伯拉罕和他的后裔，直到永远。’”

如今你们若真的听从我的话，遵守我的约，就要在万民中作属我的子民，因为全地都是我的。你们要归我作祭司的国度，为神圣的国民。’这些话你要告诉以色列人。”

那时，你们在过犯罪恶中生活，随从今世的风俗，顺服空中掌权者的领袖，就是现今在悖逆的人心中运行的邪灵。

耶稣看见就很生气，对门徒说：“让小孩到我这里来，不要阻止他们，因为在神国的正是这样的人。

那些应许原是向亚伯拉罕和他后裔说的，并不是说“和众后裔”，指许多人，而是说“和你那个后裔”，指一个人，就是基督。我是这么说，神预先所立的约不能被四百三十年以后的律法废掉，使应许失效。

我是耶和华—你的神，曾将你从埃及地领上来；你要大大张口，我就使你满足。
