摩西行於途、至憩息所、耶和華欲置之死地。西坡喇取利石、為子行割禮、所斷之皮、擲於足前、曰、爾為我夫、何殘忍若此。西坡喇言是、蓋為行割禮也。既行是禮耶和華釋摩西。○

七日間勿存酵於爾家、無論宗族賓旅、若食酵餅、必絕於以色列會中。

若其犯罪、毫無畏葸、則欺我孰甚、不論宗族賓旅必殄絕於民中。既藐視我命、干犯我律、其罪歸之、悉行殲滅。○

苟蒙不潔於其身、而食歸我之祭肉、必絕之民中。如人捫他人之不潔、或獸污、或可憎之穢物、為其所玷、而食歸我之祭肉、必絕之民中。○

逆其友朋、背其盟約、

凡循是法而製香、以芳馨悅己者、則必絕之民中。

凡蹈此愆、絕之民中、

昔我佑厥祖導出埃及、與之立約為彼所爽、我擯之弗顧、今復立約、必不若是。

逵衢寂寞、行旅不至、敵爽盟約、藐視我城垣、不顧我人民、

獻我之群畜、有食其脂者、必絕於民中。

不識主體、而飲食不合其宜者、是自取罪戾也、

七日間、當食無酵餅、首日必於爾室除酵、自首日至七日、凡食酵者、必絕之於以色列族中。

耶和華命約書亞曰、宜作石刀、使以色列族申用割禮。約書亞作石刀、使以色列族行割禮、於斷皮之山。夫約書亞使行割禮、亦有故焉、昔出埃及諸丁男、皆為武士、行於途間、亡於曠野。凡在埃及者、已受割禮、既離埃及、生於曠野者、未受割禮、蓋以色列族、遊於曠野、歷四十年、迨出埃及之武士殞沒、昔耶和華誓以產乳與蜜之地錫於斯眾、因其違命、故再發誓、不許得見斯土。其所生之子孫、途間未受割禮、故約書亞施行是禮焉。行割已畢、民居營壘、以待其痊。耶和華諭約書亞曰、昔埃及人、凌辱爾曹、今我為汝洒恥、故名地曰吉甲、至今其名尚存。○以色列族建營於吉甲、至十四日夕、守逾越節禮、於耶利哥平原。翼日以土所產之穀、製無酵餅、及已烘之穀而食。既食土所產之穀、次日嗎嗱不降、以色列族不復得之、是年所食者、則迦南土產。○

凡食此餅、飲此杯、不合其宜者、是負主身主血者也、

凡遵是法調劑他膏、或以之膏他人者、必絕於民中。○

民既犯法違例、爽其永約、故斯土咸染污衊、

其列祖不聽我言、崇事他上帝、彼乃效尤、我與彼祖結約、以色列族、及猶大家、爽我盟約。

凡食血者、必絕之民中。

物既獻我、越三日食之、是生瀆玩、必負罪愆、絕於民中。
