This is my covenant with you and your descendants after you, the covenant you are to keep: Every male among you shall be circumcised.

This is the reason Joshua circumcised them: all the people who came out of Egypt, who were males, even all the men of war, died in the wilderness along the way, after they came out of Egypt.

Yes, I testify again to every man who receives circumcision that he is a debtor to do the whole law.You are alienated from Christ, you who desire to be justified by the law. You have fallen away from grace.For we, through the Spirit, by faith wait for the hope of righteousness.For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision amounts to anything, nor uncircumcision, but faith working through love.

You shall be circumcised in the flesh of your foreskin. It will be a token of the covenant between me and you.
