「誰放野驢自由？誰解開快驢的繩索？我使曠野作牠的住處，使鹽地當牠的居所。牠嘲笑城內的喧嚷，不聽趕牲口的喝聲。諸山是牠漫遊的草場，牠尋找各樣青綠之物。

上帝與這孩子同在，他就漸漸長大，住在曠野，成了一個弓箭手。

空虛的人若獲得知識，野驢生下的駒子也成了人。

你必倚靠刀劍度日，又必服侍你的兄弟；到你強盛的時候，必從你頸項上掙開他的軛。
