Yahweh’s angel said to her,“ Behold, you are with child, and will bear a son. You shall call his name Ishmael, because Yahweh has heard your affliction.

并说：“你如今怀孕要生一个儿子，可以给他起名叫以实玛利，因为耶和华听见了你的苦情。

耶和华的使者又对她说：“看哪，你已怀孕，要生一个儿子。你要给他起名叫以实玛利，因为耶和华听见了你的苦楚。

耶和华的使者又对她说：“看哪，你已怀孕，要生一个儿子。你要给他起名叫以实玛利，因为耶和华听见了你的苦楚。

接着又说：“你现在怀了孕，将来会生一个男孩，你要给他取名叫以实玛利，因为耶和华已经听见你痛苦的哀声。

耶和华的使者再对她说：“看哪，你已经怀了孕，你要生一个儿子；你要给他起名叫以实玛利，因为耶和华听见了你的苦情。

接着耶和华的使者对她说：“看哪，你怀了孕，将会生一个儿子，你要给他起名为以实玛利，因为耶和华听见了你的苦情。

並說：「你如今懷孕要生一個兒子，可以給他起名叫以實瑪利，因為耶和華聽見了你的苦情。

耶和華的使者又對她說：「看哪，你已懷孕，要生一個兒子。你要給他起名叫以實瑪利，因為耶和華聽見了你的苦楚。

接著又說：「你現在懷了孕，將來會生一個男孩，你要給他取名叫以實瑪利，因為耶和華已經聽見你痛苦的哀聲。

耶和華的使者再對她說：“看哪，你已經懷了孕，你要生一個兒子；你要給他起名叫以實瑪利，因為耶和華聽見了你的苦情。

永恆主的使者又對她說：『看哪，你如今懷了孕，必生個兒子；你要給他起名叫以實瑪利，因為你受的苦難永恆主聽見了。

接著耶和華的使者對她說：「看哪，你懷了孕，將會生一個兒子，你要給他起名為以實瑪利，因為耶和華聽見了你的苦情。

又曰、爾今懷妊、必生男子、可命名以實瑪利、蓋耶和華已聞爾苦也、

又曰、爾今懷妊、必生男子、因耶和華俯念爾苦、可命名以實馬利。

主之使者又曰、爾今懷孕、將生一子、因主俯聞爾苦、可命名以實瑪利、以實瑪利譯即天主俯聞之義

The angel of the Lord also said to her:“ You are now pregnant and you will give birth to a son. You shall name him Ishmael, for the Lord has heard of your misery.

And the angel of the Lord said to her,“ Behold, you are pregnant and shall bear a son. You shall call his name Ishmael, because the Lord has listened to your affliction.

And the angel also said,“ You are now pregnant and will give birth to a son. You are to name him Ishmael( which means‘ God hears’), for the Lord has heard your cry of distress.

The angel of the LORD said to her,“ You have conceived and will have a son. You will name him Ishmael, for the LORD has heard your cry of affliction.

The angel of the Lord said to her further,“ Behold, you are pregnant, And you will give birth to a son; And you shall name him Ishmael, Because the Lord has heard your affliction.

And the Angel of the Lord said to her:“ Behold, you are with child, And you shall bear a son. You shall call his name Ishmael, Because the Lord has heard your affliction.

And the angel of Jehovah said unto her, Behold, thou art with child, and shalt bear a son; and thou shalt call his name Ishmael, because Jehovah hath heard thy affliction.

Then the Angel of the Lord said to her: You have conceived and will have a son. You will name him Ishmael, for the Lord has heard your cry of affliction.

And the angel of the LORD said unto her, Behold, thou[ art] with child, and shalt bear a son, and shalt call his name Ishmael; because the LORD hath heard thy affliction.

Then the LORD’s angel said to her,“ You are now pregnant and are about to give birth to a son. You are to name him Ishmael, for the LORD has heard your painful groans.

Yahweh said,“ I have surely seen the affliction of my people who are in Egypt, and have heard their cry because of their taskmasters, for I know their sorrows.

In the course of those many days, the king of Egypt died, and the children of Israel sighed because of the bondage, and they cried, and their cry came up to God because of the bondage.God heard their groaning, and God remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob.

When the time had come, Hannah conceived, and bore a son; and she named him Samuel, saying,“ Because I have asked him of Yahweh.”

Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold, the virgin will conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

She shall give birth to a son. Behold, you will conceive in your womb, and give birth to a son, and will call his name‘ Jesus.’

But the angel said to him,“ Don’t be afraid, Zacharias, because your request has been heard, and your wife, Elizabeth, will bear you a son, and you shall call his name John.

For he has not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted, Neither has he hidden his face from him; but when he cried to him, he heard.

Leah conceived, and bore a son, and she named him Reuben. For she said,“ Because Yahweh has looked at my affliction; for now my husband will love me.”She conceived again, and bore a son, and said,“ Because Yahweh has heard that I am hated, he has therefore given me this son also.” She named him Simeon.She conceived again, and bore a son. She said,“ Now this time my husband will be joined to me, because I have borne him three sons.” Therefore his name was called Levi.She conceived again, and bore a son. She said,“ This time I will praise Yahweh.” Therefore she named him Judah. Then she stopped bearing.

God said,“ No, but Sarah, your wife, will bear you a son. You shall call his name Isaac. I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant for his offspring after him.

Joseph called the name of the firstborn Manasseh,“ For”, he said,“ God has made me forget all my toil, and all my father’s house.”The name of the second, he called Ephraim:“ For God has made me fruitful in the land of my affliction.”

Now, behold, the cry of the children of Israel has come to me. Moreover I have seen the oppression with which the Egyptians oppress them.

He asked for a writing tablet, and wrote,“ His name is John.” They all marveled.

Who provides for the raven his prey, when his young ones cry to God, and wander for lack of food?
