And the angel of the LORD said unto her, I will multiply thy seed exceedingly, that it shall not be numbered for multitude.

又說：「我必使你的後裔極其繁多，甚至不可勝數」；

耶和華的使者對她說：「我必使你的後裔極其繁多，多到不可勝數。」

耶和華的使者對她說：「我必使你的後裔極其繁多，多到不可勝數。」

又說：「我必使你的後代多得不可勝數。」

耶和華的使者又對她說：“我必使你的後裔人丁興旺，多到不可勝數。”

永恆主的使者又對她說：『我必定使你的後裔大大增多，多到數不過來。』

耶和華的使者又對她說：「我將使你的後裔大大增多，多得無法數清。」

又曰、我必使爾苗裔繁衍、不可勝數、

主之使者又曰、我必使爾後裔蕃衍、不可勝數、

The angel added,“ I will increase your descendants so much that they will be too numerous to count.”

The angel continued,“ I will give you and your family many children. There will be more of them than anyone can count.”

The angel of the Lord also said to her,“ I will surely multiply your offspring so that they cannot be numbered for multitude.”

Then he added,“ I will give you more descendants than you can count.”

The angel of the LORD said to her,“ I will greatly multiply your offspring, and they will be too many to count.”

The angel of the Lord also said to her,“ I will greatly multiply your descendants so that they will be too many to count.”

Then the Angel of the Lord said to her,“ I will multiply your descendants exceedingly, so that they shall not be counted for multitude.”

And the angel of Jehovah said unto her, I will greatly multiply thy seed, that it shall not be numbered for multitude.

The Angel of the Lord also said to her,“ I will greatly multiply your offspring, and they will be too many to count.”

I will greatly multiply your descendants,” the LORD’s angel added,“ so that they will be too numerous to count.”

Yahweh’s angel said to her,“ I will greatly multiply your offspring, that they will not be counted for multitude.”

And as for Ishmael, I have heard thee: Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; twelve princes shall he beget, and I will make him a great nation.

The tabernacles of Edom, and the Ishmaelites; of Moab, and the Hagarenes;Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek; the Philistines with the inhabitants of Tyre;

And also of the son of the bondwoman will I make a nation, because he[ is] thy seed.

And the angel of the LORD called unto Abraham out of heaven the second time,And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the LORD, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only[ son]:That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which[ is] upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.

Now these[ are] the generations of Ishmael, Abraham’s son, whom Hagar the Egyptian, Sarah’s handmaid, bare unto Abraham:And these[ are] the names of the sons of Ishmael, by their names, according to their generations: the firstborn of Ishmael, Nebajoth; and Kedar, and Adbeel, and Mibsam,And Mishma, and Dumah, and Massa,Hadar, and Tema, Jetur, Naphish, and Kedemah:These[ are] the sons of Ishmael, and these[ are] their names, by their towns, and by their castles; twelve princes according to their nations.And these[ are] the years of the life of Ishmael, an hundred and thirty and seven years: and he gave up the ghost and died; and was gathered unto his people.And they dwelt from Havilah unto Shur, that[ is] before Egypt, as thou goest toward Assyria:[ and] he died in the presence of all his brethren.

Arise, lift up the lad, and hold him in thine hand; for I will make him a great nation.

No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared[ him].

And he blessed Joseph, and said, God, before whom my fathers Abraham and Isaac did walk, the God which fed me all my life long unto this day,The Angel which redeemed me from all evil, bless the lads; and let my name be named on them, and the name of my fathers Abraham and Isaac; and let them grow into a multitude in the midst of the earth.

He took his brother by the heel in the womb, and by his strength he had power with God:Yea, he had power over the angel, and prevailed: he wept, and made supplication unto him: he found him[ in] Bethel, and there he spake with us;Even the LORD God of hosts; the LORD[ is] his memorial.

And she went, and sat her down over against[ him] a good way off, as it were a bowshot: for she said, Let me not see the death of the child. And she sat over against[ him], and lift up her voice, and wept.

In all their affliction he was afflicted, and the angel of his presence saved them: in his love and in his pity he redeemed them; and he bare them, and carried them all the days of old.

And the angel of the LORD said unto Manoah, Though thou detain me, I will not eat of thy bread: and if thou wilt offer a burnt offering, thou must offer it unto the LORD. For Manoah knew not that he[ was] an angel of the LORD.And Manoah said unto the angel of the LORD, What[ is] thy name, that when thy sayings come to pass we may do thee honour?And the angel of the LORD said unto him, Why askest thou thus after my name, seeing it[ is] secret?So Manoah took a kid with a meat offering, and offered[ it] upon a rock unto the LORD: and[ the angel] did wondrously; and Manoah and his wife looked on.For it came to pass, when the flame went up toward heaven from off the altar, that the angel of the LORD ascended in the flame of the altar. And Manoah and his wife looked on[ it], and fell on their faces to the ground.But the angel of the LORD did no more appear to Manoah and to his wife. Then Manoah knew that he[ was] an angel of the LORD.And Manoah said unto his wife, We shall surely die, because we have seen God.

For thus saith the LORD of hosts; After the glory hath he sent me unto the nations which spoiled you: for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye.For, behold, I will shake mine hand upon them, and they shall be a spoil to their servants: and ye shall know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me.

And an angel of the LORD came up from Gilgal to Bochim, and said, I made you to go up out of Egypt, and have brought you unto the land which I sware unto your fathers; and I said, I will never break my covenant with you.And ye shall make no league with the inhabitants of this land; ye shall throw down their altars: but ye have not obeyed my voice: why have ye done this?Wherefore I also said, I will not drive them out from before you; but they shall be[ as thorns] in your sides, and their gods shall be a snare unto you.

Then the angel of the LORD put forth the end of the staff that[ was] in his hand, and touched the flesh and the unleavened cakes; and there rose up fire out of the rock, and consumed the flesh and the unleavened cakes. Then the angel of the LORD departed out of his sight.And when Gideon perceived that he[ was] an angel of the LORD, Gideon said, Alas, O Lord GOD! for because I have seen an angel of the LORD face to face.And the LORD said unto him, Peace[ be] unto thee; fear not: thou shalt not die.Then Gideon built an altar there unto the LORD, and called it Jehovahshalom: unto this day it[ is] yet in Ophrah of the Abiezrites.

And there came an angel of the LORD, and sat under an oak which[ was] in Ophrah, that[ pertained] unto Joash the Abiezrite: and his son Gideon threshed wheat by the winepress, to hide[ it] from the Midianites.

And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day.And when he saw that he prevailed not against him, he touched the hollow of his thigh; and the hollow of Jacob’s thigh was out of joint, as he wrestled with him.And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me.And he said unto him, What[ is] thy name? And he said, Jacob.And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed.And Jacob asked[ him], and said, Tell[ me], I pray thee, thy name. And he said, Wherefore[ is] it[ that] thou dost ask after my name? And he blessed him there.And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: for I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved.

And the LORD said unto him, Surely I will be with thee, and thou shalt smite the Midianites as one man.

And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush[ was] not consumed.And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt.And when the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here[ am] I.And he said, Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest[ is] holy ground.Moreover he said, I[ am] the God of thy father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. And Moses hid his face; for he was afraid to look upon God.

And the angel of God spake unto me in a dream,[ saying], Jacob: And I said, Here[ am] I.And he said, Lift up now thine eyes, and see, all the rams which leap upon the cattle[ are] ringstraked, speckled, and grisled: for I have seen all that Laban doeth unto thee.I[ am] the God of Bethel, where thou anointedst the pillar,[ and] where thou vowedst a vow unto me: now arise, get thee out from this land, and return unto the land of thy kindred.

And when forty years were expired, there appeared to him in the wilderness of mount Sina an angel of the Lord in a flame of fire in a bush.When Moses saw[ it], he wondered at the sight: and as he drew near to behold[ it], the voice of the Lord came unto him,[ Saying], I[ am] the God of thy fathers, the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. Then Moses trembled, and durst not behold.Then said the Lord to him, Put off thy shoes from thy feet: for the place where thou standest is holy ground.I have seen, I have seen the affliction of my people which is in Egypt, and I have heard their groaning, and am come down to deliver them. And now come, I will send thee into Egypt.This Moses whom they refused, saying, Who made thee a ruler and a judge? the same did God send[ to be] a ruler and a deliverer by the hand of the angel which appeared to him in the bush.He brought them out, after that he had shewed wonders and signs in the land of Egypt, and in the Red sea, and in the wilderness forty years.This is that Moses, which said unto the children of Israel, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear.This is he, that was in the church in the wilderness with the angel which spake to him in the mount Sina, and[ with] our fathers: who received the lively oracles to give unto us:

Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts.

Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom[ be] honour and power everlasting. Amen.
