He also said to Abram,“ I am the Lord. I brought you out of Ur in the land of Babylon. I will give you this land to have as your very own.”

耶和华又对他说：“我是耶和华，曾领你出了迦勒底的吾珥，为要将这地赐你为业。”

耶和华又对他说：“我是耶和华，曾领你出迦勒底的吾珥，为要把这地赐你为业。”

耶和华又对他说：“我是耶和华，曾领你出迦勒底的吾珥，为要把这地赐你为业。”

耶和华又对他说：“我是耶和华，我带你离开了迦勒底的吾珥，为要把这片土地赐给你。”

耶和华又对亚伯兰说：“我是耶和华，曾经把你从迦勒底的吾珥领出来，为要把这地赐给你作产业。”

耶和华对他说：“我是耶和华，我把你从迦勒底人的吾珥领出来，为要将这地赐给你，使你拥有它。”

耶和華又對他說：「我是耶和華，曾領你出了迦勒底的吾珥，為要將這地賜你為業。」

耶和華又對他說：「我是耶和華，曾領你出迦勒底的吾珥，為要把這地賜你為業。」

耶和華又對他說：「我是耶和華，曾領你出迦勒底的吾珥，為要把這地賜你為業。」

耶和華又對亞伯蘭說：“我是耶和華，曾經把你從迦勒底的吾珥領出來，為要把這地賜給你作產業。”

永恆主又對亞伯蘭說：『我是永恆主，曾領你出了迦勒底的吾珥，為的是要將這地賜給你，使你取得它為基業。』

耶和華對他說：「我是耶和華，我把你從迦勒底人的吾珥領出來，為要將這地賜給你，使你擁有它。」

又曰、我乃耶和華、昔挈爾出迦勒底之吾珥、將以此地、賜爾承之、

耶和華曰、我乃耶和華、昔攜爾出迦勒底之耳者、蓋欲以此地、賜爾得之。

主又諭之曰、我乃耶和華、曾攜爾出迦勒底之吾珥者、欲以此地賜爾為業、

He also said to him,“ I am the Lord, who brought you out of Ur of the Chaldeans to give you this land to take possession of it.”

And he said to him,“ I am the Lord who brought you out from Ur of the Chaldeans to give you this land to possess.”

Then the Lord told him,“ I am the Lord who brought you out of Ur of the Chaldeans to give you this land as your possession.”

He also said to him,“ I am the LORD who brought you from Ur of the Chaldeans to give you this land to possess.”

And He said to him,“ I am the Lord who brought you out of Ur of the Chaldeans, to give you this land to possess it.”

Then He said to him,“ I am the Lord, who brought you out of Ur of the Chaldeans, to give you this land to inherit it.”

And he said unto him, I am Jehovah that brought thee out of Ur of the Chaldees, to give thee this land to inherit it.

He also said to him,“ I am Yahweh who brought you from Ur of the Chaldeans to give you this land to possess.”

And he said unto him, I[ am] the LORD that brought thee out of Ur of the Chaldees, to give thee this land to inherit it.

The LORD said to him,“ I am the LORD who brought you out from Ur of the Chaldeans to give you this land to possess.”

He said to Abram,“ I am Yahweh who brought you out of Ur of the Chaldees, to give you this land to inherit it.”

“ You are the Lord God. You chose Abram. You brought him out of Ur in the land of Babylon. You named him Abraham.You knew that his heart was faithful to you. And you made a covenant with him. You promised to give to his children after him a land of their own. It was the land of the Canaanites, Hittites and Amorites. The Perizzites, Jebusites and Girgashites also lived there. You have kept your promise. That’s because you always do what is right and fair.

“ Brothers and fathers, listen to me!” Stephen replied.“ The God of glory appeared to our father Abraham. At that time Abraham was still in Mesopotamia. He had not yet begun living in Harran.‘ Leave your country and your people,’ God said.‘ Go to the land I will show you.’( Genesis 12:1)“ So Abraham left the land of Babylonia. He settled in Harran. After his father died, God sent Abraham to this land where you are now living.

He gave them the lands of other nations. He let them take over what others had worked for.

He remembered the holy promise he had made to his servant Abraham.

The Lord had said to Abram,“ Go from your country, your people and your father’s family. Go to the land I will show you.

He said,“ I will give you the land of Canaan. It will belong to you.”

The Lord appeared to Abram at Shechem. He said,“ I will give this land to your family who comes after you.” So Abram built an altar there to honor the Lord, who had appeared to him.

I will give you all the land you see. I will give it forever to you and your family who comes after you.I will make them like the dust of the earth. Can dust be counted? If it can, then your family can be counted.Go! Walk through the land. See how long and wide it is. I am giving it to you.”

Abraham and his family received a promise. God promised that Abraham would receive the world. It would not come to him because he obeyed the law. It would come because of his faith, which made him right with God.

Haran died in the city of Ur in Babylonia, the land where he was born. Haran died while his father Terah was still alive.Abram and Nahor both got married. The name of Abram’s wife was Sarai. The name of Nahor’s wife was Milkah, the daughter of Haran. Haran was the father of Milkah and Iscah.But Sarai wasn’t able to have children.Terah left Ur in Babylon. He took with him his son Abram and his grandson Lot, the son of Haran. Terah also took his daughter- in- law Sarai, the wife of his son Abram. All of them left together to go to Canaan. But when they came to Harran, they made their home there.
