耶和华对他说：“我是耶和华，我把你从迦勒底人的吾珥领出来，为要将这地赐给你，使你拥有它。”

耶和华又对他说：“我是耶和华，曾领你出了迦勒底的吾珥，为要将这地赐你为业。”

耶和华又对他说：“我是耶和华，曾领你出迦勒底的吾珥，为要把这地赐你为业。”

耶和华又对他说：“我是耶和华，曾领你出迦勒底的吾珥，为要把这地赐你为业。”

耶和华又对他说：“我是耶和华，我带你离开了迦勒底的吾珥，为要把这片土地赐给你。”

耶和华又对亚伯兰说：“我是耶和华，曾经把你从迦勒底的吾珥领出来，为要把这地赐给你作产业。”

耶和華又對他說：「我是耶和華，曾領你出了迦勒底的吾珥，為要將這地賜你為業。」

耶和華又對他說：「我是耶和華，曾領你出迦勒底的吾珥，為要把這地賜你為業。」

耶和華又對他說：「我是耶和華，曾領你出迦勒底的吾珥，為要把這地賜你為業。」

耶和華又對他說：「我是耶和華，我帶你離開了迦勒底的吾珥，為要把這片土地賜給你。」

耶和華又對亞伯蘭說：“我是耶和華，曾經把你從迦勒底的吾珥領出來，為要把這地賜給你作產業。”

永恆主又對亞伯蘭說：『我是永恆主，曾領你出了迦勒底的吾珥，為的是要將這地賜給你，使你取得它為基業。』

耶和華對他說：「我是耶和華，我把你從迦勒底人的吾珥領出來，為要將這地賜給你，使你擁有它。」

又曰、我乃耶和華、昔挈爾出迦勒底之吾珥、將以此地、賜爾承之、

耶和華曰、我乃耶和華、昔攜爾出迦勒底之耳者、蓋欲以此地、賜爾得之。

主又諭之曰、我乃耶和華、曾攜爾出迦勒底之吾珥者、欲以此地賜爾為業、

He also said to him,“ I am the Lord, who brought you out of Ur of the Chaldeans to give you this land to take possession of it.”

He also said to Abram,“ I am the Lord. I brought you out of Ur in the land of Babylon. I will give you this land to have as your very own.”

And he said to him,“ I am the Lord who brought you out from Ur of the Chaldeans to give you this land to possess.”

Then the Lord told him,“ I am the Lord who brought you out of Ur of the Chaldeans to give you this land as your possession.”

He also said to him,“ I am the LORD who brought you from Ur of the Chaldeans to give you this land to possess.”

And He said to him,“ I am the Lord who brought you out of Ur of the Chaldeans, to give you this land to possess it.”

Then He said to him,“ I am the Lord, who brought you out of Ur of the Chaldeans, to give you this land to inherit it.”

And he said unto him, I am Jehovah that brought thee out of Ur of the Chaldees, to give thee this land to inherit it.

He also said to him,“ I am Yahweh who brought you from Ur of the Chaldeans to give you this land to possess.”

And he said unto him, I[ am] the LORD that brought thee out of Ur of the Chaldees, to give thee this land to inherit it.

The LORD said to him,“ I am the LORD who brought you out from Ur of the Chaldeans to give you this land to possess.”

He said to Abram,“ I am Yahweh who brought you out of Ur of the Chaldees, to give you this land to inherit it.”

司提反说：“各位父老兄弟，请听！我们的先祖亚伯拉罕住哈兰以前，还在美索不达米亚的时候，荣耀的神向他显现，对他说：‘你要离开你的故土和亲族，到我所要指示你的地方去。’“于是亚伯拉罕离开迦勒底人的地方，住在哈兰。他的父亲死了以后，神使他从那里迁移到你们现在所住的这地方。

他把列国的地都赐给他们，让他们继承了万民的劳苦所得，

因为他记念他圣洁的话语，记念他的仆人亚伯拉罕。

耶和华对亚伯兰说：“你当离开你的本土、本族、父家，往我将要指示你的地去。

他说：“我要把迦南地赐给你，作为你们继业的份。”

耶和华向亚伯兰显现，说：“我必把这地赐给你的后裔。”亚伯兰就在那里为向他显现的耶和华筑了一座祭坛。

你所看见的一切地，我都必赐给你和你的后裔，直到永远。我也要使你的后裔如同地上的尘沙那样多——如果人能数算地上的尘沙，才能数算你的后裔。起来，纵横走遍这地！要知道，我要把这地赐给你。”

原来，赐给亚伯拉罕和他后裔继承世界的应许，不是藉着律法，而是藉着因信而得的义。

哈兰在他父亲塔勒之前，死在他本族之地，就是迦勒底的吾珥。亚伯兰和拿鹤各为自己娶了妻子。亚伯兰的妻子名叫撒莱，拿鹤的妻子名叫美尔迦，她是哈兰的女儿；哈兰是美尔迦的父亲，也是亦迦的父亲。撒莱不能生育，没有孩子。塔勒带着他的儿子亚伯兰和他的孙子，就是哈兰的儿子罗得，也带着他的儿媳妇——他儿子亚伯兰的妻子撒莱，一同从迦勒底的吾珥出来，要往迦南地去。他们来到哈兰的时候，就在那里住下了。
