He believed in Yahweh, who credited it to him for righteousness.

Abram believed the Lord, and he credited it to him as righteousness.

Abram believed the Lord. The Lord was pleased with Abram because he believed. So Abram’s faith made him right with the Lord.

And he believed the Lord, and he counted it to him as righteousness.

And Abram believed the Lord, and the Lord counted him as righteous because of his faith.

Abram believed the LORD, and he credited it to him as righteousness.

Then he believed in the Lord; and He credited it to him as righteousness.

And he believed in the Lord, and He accounted it to him for righteousness.

And he believed in Jehovah; and he reckoned it to him for righteousness.

Abram believed the Lord, and He credited it to him as righteousness.

And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness.

Abram believed the LORD, and the LORD considered his response of faith as proof of genuine loyalty.

So the Scripture was fulfilled which says,“ Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him as righteousness,” and he was called the friend of God.

Is this blessing then pronounced on the circumcised, or on the uncircumcised also? For we say that faith was accounted to Abraham for righteousness.

Even as Abraham“ believed God, and it was counted to him for righteousness.”Know therefore that those who are of faith are children of Abraham.The Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the Good News beforehand to Abraham, saying,“ In you all the nations will be blessed.”So then, those who are of faith are blessed with the faithful Abraham.For as many as are of the works of the law are under a curse. For it is written,“ Cursed is everyone who doesn’t continue in all things that are written in the book of the law, to do them.”Now that no man is justified by the law before God is evident, for,“ The righteous will live by faith.”The law is not of faith, but,“ The man who does them will live by them.”Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written,“ Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree,”that the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

Yet, looking to the promise of God, he didn’t waver through unbelief, but grew strong through faith, giving glory to God,and being fully assured that what he had promised, he was also able to perform.Therefore it also was“ credited to him for righteousness.”Now it was not written that it was accounted to him for his sake alone,but for our sake also, to whom it will be accounted, who believe in him who raised Jesus, our Lord, from the dead,who was delivered up for our trespasses, and was raised for our justification.

For what does the Scripture say?“ Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.”Now to him who works, the reward is not counted as grace, but as something owed.But to him who doesn’t work, but believes in him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness.Even as David also pronounces blessing on the man to whom God counts righteousness apart from works,

That was credited to him for righteousness, for all generations to come.

By faith, Abraham, when he was called, obeyed to go out to the place which he was to receive for an inheritance. He went out, not knowing where he went.

He received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith which he had while he was in uncircumcision, that he might be the father of all those who believe, though they might be in uncircumcision, that righteousness might also be accounted to them.

namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to himself, not reckoning to them their trespasses, and having committed to us the word of reconciliation.
