Then he believed in the Lord; and He credited it to him as righteousness.

Abram believed the Lord, and he credited it to him as righteousness.

Abram believed the Lord. The Lord was pleased with Abram because he believed. So Abram’s faith made him right with the Lord.

And he believed the Lord, and he counted it to him as righteousness.

And Abram believed the Lord, and the Lord counted him as righteous because of his faith.

Abram believed the LORD, and he credited it to him as righteousness.

And he believed in the Lord, and He accounted it to him for righteousness.

And he believed in Jehovah; and he reckoned it to him for righteousness.

Abram believed the Lord, and He credited it to him as righteousness.

And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness.

Abram believed the LORD, and the LORD considered his response of faith as proof of genuine loyalty.

He believed in Yahweh, who credited it to him for righteousness.

and the Scripture was fulfilled which says,“ And Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness,” and he was called a friend of God.

Is this blessing then on the circumcised, or on the uncircumcised also? For we say,“ Faith was credited to Abraham as righteousness.”

Just as Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.Therefore, recognize that it is those who are of faith who are sons of Abraham.The Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel beforehand to Abraham, saying,“ All the nations will be blessed in you.”So then, those who are of faith are blessed with Abraham, the believer.For all who are of works of the Law are under a curse; for it is written:“ Cursed is everyone who does not abide by all the things written in the book of the Law, to do them.”Now, that no one is justified by the Law before God is evident; for,“ the righteous one will live by faith.”However, the Law is not of faith; on the contrary,“ The person who performs them will live by them.”Christ redeemed us from the curse of the Law, having become a curse for us— for it is written:“ Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”—in order that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham would come to the Gentiles, so that we would receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

yet, with respect to the promise of God, he did not waver in unbelief but grew strong in faith, giving glory to God,and being fully assured that what God had promised, He was able also to perform.Therefore it was also credited to him as righteousness.Now not for his sake only was it written that it was credited to him,but for our sake also, to whom it will be credited, to us who believe in Him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead,He who was delivered over because of our wrongdoings, and was raised because of our justification.

For what does the Scripture say?“ Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.”Now to the one who works, the wages are not credited as a favor, but as what is due.But to the one who does not work, but believes in Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is credited as righteousness,just as David also speaks of the blessing of the person to whom God credits righteousness apart from works:

And it was credited to him as righteousness, To all generations forever.

By faith Abraham, when he was called, obeyed by going out to a place which he was to receive for an inheritance; and he left, not knowing where he was going.

and he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith which he had while uncircumcised, so that he might be the father of all who believe without being circumcised, that righteousness might be credited to them,

namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their wrongdoings against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation.
