Now as for you, you shall go to your fathers in peace; you shall be buried at a good old age.

但你要享大寿数，平平安安地归到你列祖那里，被人埋葬。

至于你，你要平平安安归到你祖先那里，必享长寿，被人埋葬。

而你必享长寿，安然离世。

你必得享长寿，被人埋葬，平平安安地回到你列祖那里。

至于你，你必平平安安地归到你祖先那里，你必尽享天年，才被安葬。

而你必享長壽，安然離世。

至於你呢，你卻要安安然然地歸回你列祖那裏，得享長壽，受人埋葬。

爾必安然歸祖、考終而葬、

爾必享遐齡、安然返本、而葬焉。

爾必安然歸祖、享大壽終而葬、

You, however, will go to your ancestors in peace and be buried at a good old age.

But you will die in peace. You will join the members of your family who have already died. And you will be buried when you are very old.

As for you, you shall go to your fathers in peace; you shall be buried in a good old age.

( As for you, you will die in peace and be buried at a ripe old age.)

You shall come to the grave at a full age, As a sheaf of grain ripens in its season.

And after this, Abraham buried Sarah his wife in the cave of the field of Machpelah, before Mamre( that is, Hebron) in the land of Canaan.

“ I am a foreigner and a visitor among you. Give me property for a burial place among you, that I may bury my dead out of my sight.”

This is the sum of the years of Abraham’s life which he lived: one hundred and seventy-five years.Then Abraham breathed his last and died in a good old age, an old man and full of years, and was gathered to his people.And his sons Isaac and Ishmael buried him in the cave of Machpelah, which is before Mamre, in the field of Ephron the son of Zohar the Hittite,

Mark the blameless man, and observe the upright; For the future of that man is peace.

“ Surely I will gather you to your fathers, and you shall be gathered to your grave in peace; and your eyes shall not see all the calamity which I will bring on this place and its inhabitants.”’” So they brought back word to the king.

So when David was old and full of days, he made his son Solomon king over Israel.

For when God made a promise to Abraham, because He could swear by no one greater, He swore by Himself,saying,“ Surely blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply you.”And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.For men indeed swear by the greater, and an oath for confirmation is for them an end of all dispute.Thus God, determining to show more abundantly to the heirs of promise the immutability of His counsel, confirmed it by an oath,that by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we might have strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold of the hope set before us.This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters the Presence behind the veil,

There they buried Abraham and Sarah his wife, there they buried Isaac and Rebekah his wife, and there I buried Leah.

‘ I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.”

For his sons carried him to the land of Canaan, and buried him in the cave of the field of Machpelah, before Mamre, which Abraham bought with the field from Ephron the Hittite as property for a burial place.

If a man begets a hundred children and lives many years, so that the days of his years are many, but his soul is not satisfied with goodness, or indeed he has no burial, I say that a stillborn child is better than he—

These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off were assured of them, embraced them and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.For those who say such things declare plainly that they seek a homeland.And truly if they had called to mind that country from which they had come out, they would have had opportunity to return.But now they desire a better, that is, a heavenly country. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for He has prepared a city for them.

And when you have seen it, you also shall be gathered to your people, as Aaron your brother was gathered.

When all that generation had been gathered to their fathers, another generation arose after them who did not know the Lord nor the work which He had done for Israel.

So Isaac breathed his last and died, and was gathered to his people, being old and full of days. And his sons Esau and Jacob buried him.

So Job died, old and full of days.

“ But you, go your way till the end; for you shall rest, and will arise to your inheritance at the end of the days.”

Then he charged them and said to them:“ I am to be gathered to my people; bury me with my fathers in the cave that is in the field of Ephron the Hittite,

So he died in a good old age, full of days and riches and honor; and Solomon his son reigned in his place.

“ Aaron shall be gathered to his people, for he shall not enter the land which I have given to the children of Israel, because you rebelled against My word at the water of Meribah.

The righteous perishes, And no man takes it to heart; Merciful men are taken away, While no one considers That the righteous is taken away from evil.He shall enter into peace; They shall rest in their beds, Each one walking in his uprightness.

“ At that time,” says the Lord,“ they shall bring out the bones of the kings of Judah, and the bones of its princes, and the bones of the priests, and the bones of the prophets, and the bones of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, out of their graves.They shall spread them before the sun and the moon and all the host of heaven, which they have loved and which they have served and after which they have walked, which they have sought and which they have worshiped. They shall not be gathered nor buried; they shall be like refuse on the face of the earth.

Then the dust will return to the earth as it was, And the spirit will return to God who gave it.

“ For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell asleep, was buried with his fathers, and saw corruption;
