但你要享大寿数，平平安安地归到你列祖那里，被人埋葬。

而你必享长寿，安然离世。

你必得享长寿，被人埋葬，平平安安地回到你列祖那里。

至于你，你必平平安安地归到你祖先那里，你必尽享天年，才被安葬。

但你要享大壽數，平平安安地歸到你列祖那裏，被人埋葬。

You, however, will go to your ancestors in peace and be buried at a good old age.

But you will die in peace. You will join the members of your family who have already died. And you will be buried when you are very old.

As for you, you shall go to your fathers in peace; you shall be buried in a good old age.

Afterward Abraham buried his wife Sarah in the cave in the field of Machpelah near Mamre( which is at Hebron) in the land of Canaan. (niv)

“ I am a foreigner and stranger among you. Sell me some property for a burial site here so I can bury my dead.” (niv)

Abraham lived a hundred and seventy- five years.Then Abraham breathed his last and died at a good old age, an old man and full of years; and he was gathered to his people.His sons Isaac and Ishmael buried him in the cave of Machpelah near Mamre, in the field of Ephron son of Zohar the Hittite, (niv)

Consider the blameless, observe the upright; a future awaits those who seek peace. (niv)

Now I will gather you to your ancestors, and you will be buried in peace. Your eyes will not see all the disaster I am going to bring on this place and on those who live here.’” So they took her answer back to the king. (niv)

When David was old and full of years, he made his son Solomon king over Israel. (niv)

When God made his promise to Abraham, since there was no one greater for him to swear by, he swore by himself,saying,“ I will surely bless you and give you many descendants.”And so after waiting patiently, Abraham received what was promised.People swear by someone greater than themselves, and the oath confirms what is said and puts an end to all argument.Because God wanted to make the unchanging nature of his purpose very clear to the heirs of what was promised, he confirmed it with an oath.God did this so that, by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled to take hold of the hope set before us may be greatly encouraged.We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain, (niv)

There Abraham and his wife Sarah were buried, there Isaac and his wife Rebekah were buried, and there I buried Leah. (niv)

‘ I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’? He is not the God of the dead but of the living.” (niv)

They carried him to the land of Canaan and buried him in the cave in the field of Machpelah, near Mamre, which Abraham had bought along with the field as a burial place from Ephron the Hittite. (niv)

A man may have a hundred children and live many years; yet no matter how long he lives, if he cannot enjoy his prosperity and does not receive proper burial, I say that a stillborn child is better off than he. (niv)

All these people were still living by faith when they died. They did not receive the things promised; they only saw them and welcomed them from a distance, admitting that they were foreigners and strangers on earth.People who say such things show that they are looking for a country of their own.If they had been thinking of the country they had left, they would have had opportunity to return.Instead, they were longing for a better country— a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared a city for them. (niv)

After you have seen it, you too will be gathered to your people, as your brother Aaron was, (niv)

After that whole generation had been gathered to their ancestors, another generation grew up who knew neither the Lord nor what he had done for Israel. (niv)

Then he breathed his last and died and was gathered to his people, old and full of years. And his sons Esau and Jacob buried him. (niv)

He died at a good old age, having enjoyed long life, wealth and honor. His son Solomon succeeded him as king. (niv)

The righteous perish, and no one takes it to heart; the devout are taken away, and no one understands that the righteous are taken away to be spared from evil.Those who walk uprightly enter into peace; they find rest as they lie in death. (niv)

“‘ At that time, declares the Lord, the bones of the kings and officials of Judah, the bones of the priests and prophets, and the bones of the people of Jerusalem will be removed from their graves.They will be exposed to the sun and the moon and all the stars of the heavens, which they have loved and served and which they have followed and consulted and worshiped. They will not be gathered up or buried, but will be like dung lying on the ground. (niv)

and the dust returns to the ground it came from, and the spirit returns to God who gave it. (niv)

“ Now when David had served God’s purpose in his own generation, he fell asleep; he was buried with his ancestors and his body decayed. (niv)
