And the LORD shewed signs and wonders, great and sore, upon Egypt, upon Pharaoh, and upon all his household, before our eyes:

And didst see the affliction of our fathers in Egypt, and heardest their cry by the Red sea;And shewedst signs and wonders upon Pharaoh, and on all his servants, and on all the people of his land: for thou knewest that they dealt proudly against them. So didst thou get thee a name, as[ it is] this day.And thou didst divide the sea before them, so that they went through the midst of the sea on the dry land; and their persecutors thou threwest into the deeps, as a stone into the mighty waters.

But the LORD hath taken you, and brought you forth out of the iron furnace,[ even] out of Egypt, to be unto him a people of inheritance, as[ ye are] this day.

And Israel took his journey with all that he had, and came to Beersheba, and offered sacrifices unto the God of his father Isaac.And God spake unto Israel in the visions of the night, and said, Jacob, Jacob. And he said, Here[ am] I.And he said, I[ am] God, the God of thy father: fear not to go down into Egypt; for I will there make of thee a great nation:I will go down with thee into Egypt; and I will also surely bring thee up[ again]: and Joseph shall put his hand upon thine eyes.And Jacob rose up from Beersheba: and the sons of Israel carried Jacob their father, and their little ones, and their wives, in the wagons which Pharaoh had sent to carry him.And they took their cattle, and their goods, which they had gotten in the land of Canaan, and came into Egypt, Jacob, and all his seed with him:His sons, and his sons’ sons with him, his daughters, and his sons’ daughters, and all his seed brought he with him into Egypt.And these[ are] the names of the children of Israel, which came into Egypt, Jacob and his sons: Reuben, Jacob’s firstborn.And the sons of Reuben; Hanoch, and Phallu, and Hezron, and Carmi.And the sons of Simeon; Jemuel, and Jamin, and Ohad, and Jachin, and Zohar, and Shaul the son of a Canaanitish woman.And the sons of Levi; Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.And the sons of Judah; Er, and Onan, and Shelah, and Pharez, and Zerah: but Er and Onan died in the land of Canaan. And the sons of Pharez were Hezron and Hamul.And the sons of Issachar; Tola, and Phuvah, and Job, and Shimron.And the sons of Zebulun; Sered, and Elon, and Jahleel.These[ be] the sons of Leah, which she bare unto Jacob in Padanaram, with his daughter Dinah: all the souls of his sons and his daughters[ were] thirty and three.And the sons of Gad; Ziphion, and Haggi, Shuni, and Ezbon, Eri, and Arodi, and Areli.And the sons of Asher; Jimnah, and Ishuah, and Isui, and Beriah, and Serah their sister: and the sons of Beriah; Heber, and Malchiel.These[ are] the sons of Zilpah, whom Laban gave to Leah his daughter, and these she bare unto Jacob,[ even] sixteen souls.The sons of Rachel Jacob’s wife; Joseph, and Benjamin.And unto Joseph in the land of Egypt were born Manasseh and Ephraim, which Asenath the daughter of Potipherah priest of On bare unto him.And the sons of Benjamin[ were] Belah, and Becher, and Ashbel, Gera, and Naaman, Ehi, and Rosh, Muppim, and Huppim, and Ard.These[ are] the sons of Rachel, which were born to Jacob: all the souls[ were] fourteen.And the sons of Dan; Hushim.And the sons of Naphtali; Jahzeel, and Guni, and Jezer, and Shillem.These[ are] the sons of Bilhah, which Laban gave unto Rachel his daughter, and she bare these unto Jacob: all the souls[ were] seven.All the souls that came with Jacob into Egypt, which came out of his loins, besides Jacob’s sons’ wives, all the souls[ were] threescore and six;And the sons of Joseph, which were born him in Egypt,[ were] two souls: all the souls of the house of Jacob, which came into Egypt,[ were] threescore and ten.And he sent Judah before him unto Joseph, to direct his face unto Goshen; and they came into the land of Goshen.And Joseph made ready his chariot, and went up to meet Israel his father, to Goshen, and presented himself unto him; and he fell on his neck, and wept on his neck a good while.And Israel said unto Joseph, Now let me die, since I have seen thy face, because thou[ art] yet alive.And Joseph said unto his brethren, and unto his father’s house, I will go up, and shew Pharaoh, and say unto him, My brethren, and my father’s house, which[ were] in the land of Canaan, are come unto me;And the men[ are] shepherds, for their trade hath been to feed cattle; and they have brought their flocks, and their herds, and all that they have.And it shall come to pass, when Pharaoh shall call you, and shall say, What[ is] your occupation?That ye shall say, Thy servants’ trade hath been about cattle from our youth even until now, both we,[ and] also our fathers: that ye may dwell in the land of Goshen; for every shepherd[ is] an abomination unto the Egyptians.

And the LORD said unto Moses, See, I have made thee a god to Pharaoh: and Aaron thy brother shall be thy prophet.Thou shalt speak all that I command thee: and Aaron thy brother shall speak unto Pharaoh, that he send the children of Israel out of his land.And I will harden Pharaoh’s heart, and multiply my signs and my wonders in the land of Egypt.But Pharaoh shall not hearken unto you, that I may lay my hand upon Egypt, and bring forth mine armies,[ and] my people the children of Israel, out of the land of Egypt by great judgments.And the Egyptians shall know that I[ am] the LORD, when I stretch forth mine hand upon Egypt, and bring out the children of Israel from among them.And Moses and Aaron did as the LORD commanded them, so did they.And Moses[ was] fourscore years old, and Aaron fourscore and three years old, when they spake unto Pharaoh.And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,When Pharaoh shall speak unto you, saying, Shew a miracle for you: then thou shalt say unto Aaron, Take thy rod, and cast[ it] before Pharaoh,[ and] it shall become a serpent.And Moses and Aaron went in unto Pharaoh, and they did so as the LORD had commanded: and Aaron cast down his rod before Pharaoh, and before his servants, and it became a serpent.Then Pharaoh also called the wise men and the sorcerers: now the magicians of Egypt, they also did in like manner with their enchantments.For they cast down every man his rod, and they became serpents: but Aaron’s rod swallowed up their rods.And he hardened Pharaoh’s heart, that he hearkened not unto them; as the LORD had said.And the LORD said unto Moses, Pharaoh’s heart[ is] hardened, he refuseth to let the people go.

And I will give this people favour in the sight of the Egyptians: and it shall come to pass, that, when ye go, ye shall not go empty:But every woman shall borrow of her neighbour, and of her that sojourneth in her house, jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment: and ye shall put[ them] upon your sons, and upon your daughters; and ye shall spoil the Egyptians.

Also take your flocks and your herds, as ye have said, and be gone; and bless me also.And the Egyptians were urgent upon the people, that they might send them out of the land in haste; for they said, We[ be] all dead[ men].And the people took their dough before it was leavened, their kneadingtroughs being bound up in their clothes upon their shoulders.And the children of Israel did according to the word of Moses; and they borrowed of the Egyptians jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment:And the LORD gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they lent unto them[ such things as they required]. And they spoiled the Egyptians.And the children of Israel journeyed from Rameses to Succoth, about six hundred thousand on foot[ that were] men, beside children.And a mixed multitude went up also with them; and flocks, and herds,[ even] very much cattle.

And I gave unto Isaac Jacob and Esau: and I gave unto Esau mount Seir, to possess it; but Jacob and his children went down into Egypt.I sent Moses also and Aaron, and I plagued Egypt, according to that which I did among them: and afterward I brought you out.And I brought your fathers out of Egypt: and ye came unto the sea; and the Egyptians pursued after your fathers with chariots and horsemen unto the Red sea.And when they cried unto the LORD, he put darkness between you and the Egyptians, and brought the sea upon them, and covered them; and your eyes have seen what I have done in Egypt: and ye dwelt in the wilderness a long season.

And I have also heard the groaning of the children of Israel, whom the Egyptians keep in bondage; and I have remembered my covenant.Wherefore say unto the children of Israel, I[ am] the LORD, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will rid you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with a stretched out arm, and with great judgments:

When Jacob was come into Egypt, and your fathers cried unto the LORD, then the LORD sent Moses and Aaron, which brought forth your fathers out of Egypt, and made them dwell in this place.

And know ye this day: for[ I speak] not with your children which have not known, and which have not seen the chastisement of the LORD your God, his greatness, his mighty hand, and his stretched out arm,And his miracles, and his acts, which he did in the midst of Egypt unto Pharaoh the king of Egypt, and unto all his land;And what he did unto the army of Egypt, unto their horses, and to their chariots; how he made the water of the Red sea to overflow them as they pursued after you, and[ how] the LORD hath destroyed them unto this day;

Thou shalt not be afraid of them:[ but] shalt well remember what the LORD thy God did unto Pharaoh, and unto all Egypt;The great temptations which thine eyes saw, and the signs, and the wonders, and the mighty hand, and the stretched out arm, whereby the LORD thy God brought thee out: so shall the LORD thy God do unto all the people of whom thou art afraid.

For the LORD our God, he[ it is] that brought us up and our fathers out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage, and which did those great signs in our sight, and preserved us in all the way wherein we went, and among all the people through whom we passed:

They shewed his signs among them, and wonders in the land of Ham.He sent darkness, and made it dark; and they rebelled not against his word.He turned their waters into blood, and slew their fish.Their land brought forth frogs in abundance, in the chambers of their kings.He spake, and there came divers sorts of flies,[ and] lice in all their coasts.He gave them hail for rain,[ and] flaming fire in their land.He smote their vines also and their fig trees; and brake the trees of their coasts.He spake, and the locusts came, and caterpillers, and that without number,And did eat up all the herbs in their land, and devoured the fruit of their ground.He smote also all the firstborn in their land, the chief of all their strength.He brought them forth also with silver and gold: and[ there was] not one feeble[ person] among their tribes.

For the LORD will judge his people, and he will repent himself concerning his servants.

[ Who] sent tokens and wonders into the midst of thee, O Egypt, upon Pharaoh, and upon all his servants.

Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done[ this] evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest,[ and] be clear when thou judgest.

How he had wrought his signs in Egypt, and his wonders in the field of Zoan:And had turned their rivers into blood; and their floods, that they could not drink.He sent divers sorts of flies among them, which devoured them; and frogs, which destroyed them.He gave also their increase unto the caterpiller, and their labour unto the locust.He destroyed their vines with hail, and their sycomore trees with frost.He gave up their cattle also to the hail, and their flocks to hot thunderbolts.He cast upon them the fierceness of his anger, wrath, and indignation, and trouble, by sending evil angels[ among them].He made a way to his anger; he spared not their soul from death, but gave their life over to the pestilence;And smote all the firstborn in Egypt; the chief of[ their] strength in the tabernacles of Ham:
