但亚伯兰对所多玛王说：“我曾经向耶和华至高神、天地的主宰举手起誓：

亞伯蘭對所多瑪王說：「我已經向天地的主－至高的神耶和華起誓：

亞伯蘭對所多瑪王說：『我已經向天地的製作主，至高者上帝永恆主舉手起誓；

但亞伯蘭對所多瑪王說：「我曾經向耶和華至高神、天地的主宰舉手起誓：

亞伯蘭曰、我已舉手、指至高之上帝、天地之主宰耶和華而誓、

亞伯蘭曰、吾指至高之上帝、天地之主、耶和華而誓、

亞伯蘭謂所多瑪王曰、我指天地之主宰、至高天主耶和華而誓、

But Abram said to the king of Sodom,“ With raised hand I have sworn an oath to the Lord, God Most High, Creator of heaven and earth,

But Abram said to the king of Sodom,“ I have raised my hand to make a promise to the Lord. He is the Most High God. He is the Creator of heaven and earth.

But Abram said to the king of Sodom,“ I have lifted my hand to the Lord, God Most High, Possessor of heaven and earth,

Abram replied to the king of Sodom,“ I solemnly swear to the Lord, God Most High, Creator of heaven and earth,

But Abram said to the king of Sodom,“ I have raised my hand in an oath to the LORD, God Most High, Creator of heaven and earth,

But Abram said to the king of Sodom,“ I have sworn to the Lord God Most High, Possessor of heaven and earth,

But Abram said to the king of Sodom,“ I have raised my hand to the Lord, God Most High, the Possessor of heaven and earth,

And Abram said to the king of Sodom, I have lifted up my hand unto Jehovah, God Most High, possessor of heaven and earth,

But Abram said to the king of Sodom,“ I have raised my hand in an oath to Yahweh, God Most High, Creator of heaven and earth,

And Abram said to the king of Sodom, I have lift up mine hand unto the LORD, the most high God, the possessor of heaven and earth,

But Abram replied to the king of Sodom,“ I raise my hand to the LORD, the Most High God, Creator of heaven and earth, and vow

I will bring you into the land which I swore to give to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob; and I will give it to you for a heritage: I am Yahweh.’”

I heard the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand to heaven, and swore by him who lives forever that it will be for a time, times, and a half; and when they have finished breaking in pieces the power of the holy people, all these things will be finished.

The angel whom I saw standing on the sea and on the land lifted up his right hand to the sky,and swore by him who lives forever and ever, who created heaven and the things that are in it, the earth and the things that are in it, and the sea and the things that are in it, that there will no longer be delay,

The earth is Yahweh’s, with its fullness; the world, and those who dwell in it.

that they may know that you alone, whose name is Yahweh, are the Most High over all the earth.

For I lift up my hand to heaven and declare, as I live forever,

Abraham planted a tamarisk tree in Beersheba, and called there on the name of Yahweh, the Everlasting God.

At the end of the days I, Nebuchadnezzar, lifted up my eyes to heaven, and my understanding returned to me, and I blessed the Most High, and I praised and honored him who lives forever; for his dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom from generation to generation.

When he saw her, he tore his clothes, and said,“ Alas, my daughter! You have brought me very low, and you are one of those who trouble me; for I have opened my mouth to Yahweh, and I can’t go back.”

But according to the kindness that I have done to you, you shall do to me, and to the land in which you have lived as a foreigner.”Abraham said,“ I will swear.”Abraham complained to Abimelech because of a water well, which Abimelech’s servants had violently taken away.Abimelech said,“ I don’t know who has done this thing. You didn’t tell me, and I didn’t hear of it until today.”Abraham took sheep and cattle, and gave them to Abimelech. Those two made a covenant.Abraham set seven ewe lambs of the flock by themselves.Abimelech said to Abraham,“ What do these seven ewe lambs, which you have set by themselves, mean?”He said,“ You shall take these seven ewe lambs from my hand, that it may be a witness to me, that I have dug this well.”Therefore he called that place Beersheba, because they both swore an oath there.

When Abram was ninety- nine years old, Yahweh appeared to Abram and said to him,“ I am God Almighty. Walk before me and be blameless.

For the high and lofty One who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy, says:“ I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also who is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite.

He blessed him, and said,“ Blessed be Abram of God Most High, possessor of heaven and earth.Blessed be God Most High, who has delivered your enemies into your hand.” Abram gave him a tenth of all.
