But Abram said to the king of Sodom,“ I have sworn to the Lord God Most High, Possessor of heaven and earth,

但亚伯兰对所多玛王说：“我曾经向耶和华至高神、天地的主宰举手起誓：

亞伯蘭對所多瑪王說：「我已經向天地的主－至高的神耶和華起誓：

亞伯蘭對所多瑪王說：「我指着耶和華－至高的上帝、天地的主起誓：

亞伯蘭對所多瑪王說：「我指着耶和華－至高的神、天地的主起誓：

亞伯蘭對他說：「我向創造天地的主、至高的上帝耶和華起誓，

亞伯蘭對所多瑪王說：“我已經向創造天地的主、至高的神耶和華舉手起誓；

亞伯蘭對所多瑪王說：『我已經向天地的製作主，至高者上帝永恆主舉手起誓；

但亞伯蘭對所多瑪王說：「我曾經向耶和華至高神、天地的主宰舉手起誓：

亞伯蘭曰、我已舉手、指至高之上帝、天地之主宰耶和華而誓、

亞伯蘭曰、吾指至高之上帝、天地之主、耶和華而誓、

亞伯蘭謂所多瑪王曰、我指天地之主宰、至高天主耶和華而誓、

But Abram said to the king of Sodom,“ With raised hand I have sworn an oath to the Lord, God Most High, Creator of heaven and earth,

But Abram said to the king of Sodom,“ I have raised my hand to make a promise to the Lord. He is the Most High God. He is the Creator of heaven and earth.

But Abram said to the king of Sodom,“ I have lifted my hand to the Lord, God Most High, Possessor of heaven and earth,

Abram replied to the king of Sodom,“ I solemnly swear to the Lord, God Most High, Creator of heaven and earth,

But Abram said to the king of Sodom,“ I have raised my hand in an oath to the LORD, God Most High, Creator of heaven and earth,

But Abram said to the king of Sodom,“ I have raised my hand to the Lord, God Most High, the Possessor of heaven and earth,

And Abram said to the king of Sodom, I have lifted up my hand unto Jehovah, God Most High, possessor of heaven and earth,

But Abram said to the king of Sodom,“ I have raised my hand in an oath to Yahweh, God Most High, Creator of heaven and earth,

And Abram said to the king of Sodom, I have lift up mine hand unto the LORD, the most high God, the possessor of heaven and earth,

But Abram replied to the king of Sodom,“ I raise my hand to the LORD, the Most High God, Creator of heaven and earth, and vow

Abram said to the king of Sodom,“ I have lifted up my hand to Yahweh, God Most High, possessor of heaven and earth,

I will bring you to the land which I swore to give to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and I will give it to you as a possession; I am the Lord.’ ”

And I heard the man dressed in linen, who was above the waters of the stream, as he raised his right hand and his left toward heaven, and swore by Him who lives forever that it would be for a time, times, and half a time; and as soon as they finish smashing the power of the holy people, all these events will be completed.

Then the angel whom I saw standing on the sea and on the land raised his right hand to heaven,and swore by Him who lives forever and ever, who created heaven and the things in it, and the earth and the things in it, and the sea and the things in it, that there will no longer be a delay,

The earth is the Lord’s, and all it contains, The world, and those who live in it.

So that they will know that You alone, whose name is the Lord, Are the Most High over all the earth.

Indeed, I raise My hand to heaven, And say, as I live forever,

Abraham planted a tamarisk tree at Beersheba, and there he called on the name of the Lord, the Everlasting God.

“ But at the end of that period, I, Nebuchadnezzar, raised my eyes toward heaven and my reason returned to me, and I blessed the Most High and praised and honored Him who lives forever; For His dominion is an everlasting dominion, And His kingdom endures from generation to generation.

‘ The silver is Mine and the gold is Mine,’ declares the Lord of armies.

So when he saw her, he tore his clothes and said,“ Oh, my daughter! You have brought me disaster, and you are among those who trouble me; for I have given my word to the Lord, and I cannot take it back.”

so now, swear to me here by God that you will not deal falsely with me or with my offspring or with my descendants, but according to the kindness that I have shown to you, you shall show to me and to the land in which you have resided.”Abraham said,“ I swear it.”But Abraham complained to Abimelech because of the well of water which the servants of Abimelech had seized.And Abimelech said,“ I do not know who has done this thing; you did not tell me, nor did I hear of it until today.”So Abraham took sheep and oxen and gave them to Abimelech, and the two of them made a covenant.But Abraham set seven ewe lambs of the flock by themselves.Then Abimelech said to Abraham,“ What do these seven ewe lambs mean, which you have set by themselves?”He said,“ You shall take these seven ewe lambs from my hand so that it may be a witness for me, that I dug this well.”Therefore he called that place Beersheba, because there the two of them took an oath.

Now when Abram was ninety nine years old, the Lord appeared to Abram and said to him,“ I am God Almighty; Walk before Me, and be blameless.

For this is what the high and exalted One Who lives forever, whose name is Holy, says:“ I dwell in a high and holy place, And also with the contrite and lowly of spirit In order to revive the spirit of the lowly And to revive the heart of the contrite.

And he blessed him and said,“ Blessed be Abram of God Most High, Possessor of heaven and earth;And blessed be God Most High, Who has handed over your enemies to you.” And he gave him a tenth of everything.
