But Abram said to the king of Sodom,“ I have raised my hand in an oath to Yahweh, God Most High, Creator of heaven and earth,

亞伯蘭對所多瑪王說：「我已經向天地的主－至高的神耶和華起誓：

亞伯蘭對所多瑪王說：「我指着耶和華－至高的上帝、天地的主起誓：

亞伯蘭對所多瑪王說：「我指着耶和華－至高的神、天地的主起誓：

亞伯蘭對他說：「我向創造天地的主、至高的上帝耶和華起誓，

亞伯蘭對所多瑪王說：“我已經向創造天地的主、至高的神耶和華舉手起誓；

亞伯蘭對所多瑪王說：『我已經向天地的製作主，至高者上帝永恆主舉手起誓；

但亞伯蘭對所多瑪王說：「我曾經向耶和華至高神、天地的主宰舉手起誓：

亞伯蘭曰、我已舉手、指至高之上帝、天地之主宰耶和華而誓、

亞伯蘭曰、吾指至高之上帝、天地之主、耶和華而誓、

亞伯蘭謂所多瑪王曰、我指天地之主宰、至高天主耶和華而誓、

But Abram said to the king of Sodom,“ With raised hand I have sworn an oath to the Lord, God Most High, Creator of heaven and earth,

But Abram said to the king of Sodom,“ I have raised my hand to make a promise to the Lord. He is the Most High God. He is the Creator of heaven and earth.

But Abram said to the king of Sodom,“ I have lifted my hand to the Lord, God Most High, Possessor of heaven and earth,

Abram replied to the king of Sodom,“ I solemnly swear to the Lord, God Most High, Creator of heaven and earth,

But Abram said to the king of Sodom,“ I have raised my hand in an oath to the LORD, God Most High, Creator of heaven and earth,

But Abram said to the king of Sodom,“ I have sworn to the Lord God Most High, Possessor of heaven and earth,

But Abram said to the king of Sodom,“ I have raised my hand to the Lord, God Most High, the Possessor of heaven and earth,

And Abram said to the king of Sodom, I have lifted up my hand unto Jehovah, God Most High, possessor of heaven and earth,

And Abram said to the king of Sodom, I have lift up mine hand unto the LORD, the most high God, the possessor of heaven and earth,

But Abram replied to the king of Sodom,“ I raise my hand to the LORD, the Most High God, Creator of heaven and earth, and vow

Abram said to the king of Sodom,“ I have lifted up my hand to Yahweh, God Most High, possessor of heaven and earth,

I will bring you to the land that I swore to give to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and I will give it to you as a possession. I am Yahweh.”

Then I heard the man dressed in linen, who was above the waters of the river. He raised both his hands toward heaven and swore by Him who lives eternally that it would be for a time, times, and half a time. When the power of the holy people is shattered, all these things will be completed.

Then the angel that I had seen standing on the sea and on the land raised his right hand to heaven.He swore an oath by the One who lives forever and ever, who created heaven and what is in it, the earth and what is in it, and the sea and what is in it:“ There will no longer be an interval of time,

The earth and everything in it, the world and its inhabitants, belong to the Lord;

May they know that You alone— whose name is Yahweh— are the Most High over all the earth.

I raise My hand to heaven and declare: As surely as I live forever,

Abraham planted a tamarisk tree in Beer-sheba, and there he called on the name of Yahweh, the Everlasting God.

But at the end of those days, I, Nebuchadnezzar, looked up to heaven, and my sanity returned to me. Then I praised the Most High and honored and glorified Him who lives forever: For His dominion is an everlasting dominion, and His kingdom is from generation to generation.

“ The silver and gold belong to Me”— this is the declaration of the Lord of Hosts.

When he saw her, he tore his clothes and said,“ No! Not my daughter! You have devastated me! You have brought great misery on me. I have given my word to the Lord and cannot take it back.”

Swear to me by God here and now, that you will not break an agreement with me or with my children and descendants. As I have been loyal to you, so you will be loyal to me and to the country where you are a foreign resident.”And Abraham said,“ I swear it.”But Abraham complained to Abimelech because of the water well that Abimelech’s servants had seized.Abimelech replied,“ I don’t know who did this thing. You didn’t report anything to me, so I hadn’t heard about it until today.”Abraham took sheep and cattle and gave them to Abimelech, and the two of them made a covenant.Abraham separated seven ewe lambs from the flock.And Abimelech said to Abraham,“ Why have you separated these seven ewe lambs?”He replied,“ You are to accept the seven ewe lambs from my hand so that this act will serve as my witness that I dug this well.”Therefore that place was called Beer-sheba because it was there that the two of them swore an oath.

When Abram was 99 years old, the Lord appeared to him, saying,“ I am God Almighty. Live in My presence and be blameless.

For the High and Exalted One who lives forever, whose name is Holy says this:“ I live in a high and holy place, and with the oppressed and lowly of spirit, to revive the spirit of the lowly and revive the heart of the oppressed.

He blessed him and said: Abram is blessed by God Most High, Creator of heaven and earth,and I give praise to God Most High who has handed over your enemies to you. And Abram gave him a tenth of everything.
