亞伯蘭謂所多瑪王曰、我指天地之主宰、至高天主耶和華而誓、

But Abram said to the king of Sodom,“ With raised hand I have sworn an oath to the Lord, God Most High, Creator of heaven and earth,

But Abram said to the king of Sodom,“ I have raised my hand to make a promise to the Lord. He is the Most High God. He is the Creator of heaven and earth.

But Abram said to the king of Sodom,“ I have lifted my hand to the Lord, God Most High, Possessor of heaven and earth,

Abram replied to the king of Sodom,“ I solemnly swear to the Lord, God Most High, Creator of heaven and earth,

But Abram said to the king of Sodom,“ I have raised my hand in an oath to the LORD, God Most High, Creator of heaven and earth,

But Abram said to the king of Sodom,“ I have sworn to the Lord God Most High, Possessor of heaven and earth,

Abram said to the king of Sodom,“ I have lifted up my hand to Yahweh, God Most High, possessor of heaven and earth,

我必带领你们进入我举手起誓要给亚伯拉罕、以撒和雅各的那片土地，把它赐给你们作产业。我是耶和华。’”

我听见身穿细麻衣、站在河水之上的人向天举起双手，凭永活者起誓说：“再过三年半，等摧毁圣民的权势结束时，这一切事都要成就。”

我刚才所见的那位脚踏海洋和陆地的天使向天举起右手，凭着活到永永远远、创造天地海洋和其中一切的上帝起誓说：“必不再耽延了。

大地和其中的万物都属于耶和华，世上的一切都是祂的。

让他们知道你是耶和华，唯有你是普天下的至高者。

我向天伸手，凭我的永恒起誓，

亚伯拉罕在别示巴栽了一棵红柳，又在那里呼求耶和华——永恒上帝的名。

“七年后，我尼布甲尼撒举目望天，恢复了神智，便称颂至高者，赞美、尊崇永活者。“祂的统治永无穷尽，祂的国度直到万代。

万军之耶和华说，金子是我的，银子也是我的。

他一见自己的女儿，便撕裂衣服，说：“唉，我的女儿啊，你真让我伤心欲绝！我向耶和华许了愿，不能收回了！”

现在请你在这里当着上帝的面向我起誓，你不会欺骗我和我的子孙后代。我怎样善待你，请你也同样善待我以及你所寄居之地的百姓。”亚伯拉罕说：“我愿起誓。”由于亚比米勒的仆人霸占了一口水井，亚伯拉罕就指责亚比米勒。亚比米勒说：“我不知道是谁做的，你以前没有告诉我，我今天才听说这事。”亚伯拉罕把牛羊送给亚比米勒，他们二人立了约。亚伯拉罕又从羊群中分出七只母羊羔。亚比米勒问亚伯拉罕：“你分出七只母羊羔是什么意思？”亚伯拉罕回答说：“你要从我手中接受这七只母羊羔，表示你承认这口井是我挖的。”所以，那地方被称为别示巴，因为他们二人在那里起了誓。

亚伯兰九十九岁那年，耶和华向他显现说：“我是全能的上帝。你要遵行我的旨意，做纯全无过的人。

那至高至上、永远长存的圣者说：“我住在至高至圣之处，但我也跟痛悔、谦卑的人同住，使他们心灵振作。

他祝福亚伯兰说：“愿创造天地的主、至高的上帝赐福给亚伯兰！将敌人交在你手中的至高上帝当受称颂！”于是，亚伯兰把所得的十分之一给麦基洗德。
