So Abram said to Lot,“ Let’s not have any quarreling between you and me, or between your herders and mine, for we are close relatives.

So Abram said to Lot,“ Let’s not argue with each other. The people taking care of your herds and those taking care of mine shouldn’t argue with one another either. After all, we’re part of the same family.

Finally Abram said to Lot,“ Let’s not allow this conflict to come between us or our herdsmen. After all, we are close relatives!

Instead, does a Christian sue a Christian, and do this before unbelievers?The fact that you have lawsuits among yourselves demonstrates that you have already been defeated. Why not rather be wronged? Why not rather be cheated?

Look! How good and how pleasant it is when brothers live together!

The next day Moses saw two men fighting, and tried to make peace between them, saying,‘ Men, you are brothers; why are you hurting one another?’

This is the account of Terah. Terah became the father of Abram, Nahor, and Haran. And Haran became the father of Lot.Haran died in the land of his birth, in Ur of the Chaldeans, while his father Terah was still alive.And Abram and Nahor took wives for themselves. The name of Abram’s wife was Sarai, and the name of Nahor’s wife was Milcah; she was the daughter of Haran, the father of both Milcah and Iscah.But Sarai was barren; she had no children.Terah took his son Abram, his grandson Lot( the son of Haran), and his daughter-in-law Sarai, his son Abram’s wife, and with them he set out from Ur of the Chaldeans to go to Canaan. When they came to Haran, they settled there.

We know that we have crossed over from death to life because we love our fellow Christians. The one who does not love remains in death.Everyone who hates his fellow Christian is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life residing in him.We have come to know love by this: that Jesus laid down his life for us; thus we ought to lay down our lives for our fellow Christians.But whoever has the world’s possessions and sees his fellow Christian in need and shuts off his compassion against him, how can the love of God reside in such a person?Little children, let us not love with word or with tongue but in deed and truth.And by this we will know that we are of the truth and will convince our conscience in his presence,

to godliness, brotherly affection; to brotherly affection, unselfish love.

Do everything without grumbling or arguing,

Then he sent his brothers on their way and they left. He said to them,“ As you travel don’t be overcome with fear.”

The one who says he is in the light but still hates his fellow Christian is still in the darkness.The one who loves his fellow Christian resides in the light, and there is no cause for stumbling in him.But the one who hates his fellow Christian is in the darkness, walks in the darkness, and does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes.

A quick-tempered person stirs up dissension, but one who is slow to anger calms a quarrel.

Be devoted to one another with mutual love, showing eagerness in honoring one another.

When he went out the next day, there were two Hebrew men fighting. So he said to the one who was in the wrong,“ Why are you attacking your fellow Hebrew?”

Pursue peace with everyone, and holiness, for without it no one will see the Lord.

A gentle response turns away anger, but a harsh word stirs up wrath.

Now on the topic of brotherly love you have no need for anyone to write you, for you yourselves are taught by God to love one another.

Finally, all of you be harmonious, sympathetic, affectionate, compassionate, and humble.

It is an honor for a person to cease from strife, but every fool quarrels.

But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, accommodating, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial, and not hypocritical.And the fruit that consists of righteousness is planted in peace among those who make peace.

with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love,making every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

Above all keep your love for one another fervent, because love covers a multitude of sins.

You have purified your souls by obeying the truth in order to show sincere mutual love. So love one another earnestly from a pure heart.

Brotherly love must continue.

“ Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called the children of God.

Honor all people, love the family of believers, fear God, honor the king.
