亞伯蘭就對羅得說：「但願你我之間，你的牧人和我的牧人之間不要有爭吵，因為我們是一家人。

亞伯蘭謂羅得曰、爾我乃骨肉之親、不可相爭、爾牧我牧、何競之有。

亞伯蘭謂羅得曰、爾與我原為骨肉不可相爭、爾牧與我牧亦不可相爭、

So Abram said to Lot,“ Let’s not have any quarreling between you and me, or between your herders and mine, for we are close relatives.

So Abram said to Lot,“ Let’s not argue with each other. The people taking care of your herds and those taking care of mine shouldn’t argue with one another either. After all, we’re part of the same family.

Then Abram said to Lot,“ Let there be no strife between you and me, and between your herdsmen and my herdsmen, for we are kinsmen.

Finally Abram said to Lot,“ Let’s not allow this conflict to come between us or our herdsmen. After all, we are close relatives!

So Abram said to Lot,“ Please, let’s not have quarreling between you and me, or between your herdsmen and my herdsmen, since we are relatives.

So Abram said to Lot,“ Please let there be no strife between you and me, nor between my herdsmen and your herdsmen, for we are relatives!

So Abram said to Lot,“ Please let there be no strife between you and me, and between my herdsmen and your herdsmen; for we are brethren.

And Abram said unto Lot, Let there be no strife, I pray thee, between me and thee, and between my herdsmen and thy herdsmen; for we are brethren.

Then Abram said to Lot,“ Please, let’s not have quarreling between you and me, or between your herdsmen and my herdsmen, since we are relatives.

Abram said to Lot,“ Let there be no quarreling between me and you, and between my herdsmen and your herdsmen, for we are close relatives.

乃兄弟相訟、且於不信者前乎、夫爾曹相訟、其失已甚、盍寧受枉受虧乎、

昆弟翕合同居、何其美善兮、

翌日見其相鬥、欲使之復和、曰、爾乃兄弟、何相害耶、

他拉之裔如左、他拉生亞伯蘭、拿鶴、哈蘭、哈蘭生羅得、哈蘭先其父死於故土、迦勒底之吾珥、亞伯蘭拿鶴皆娶室、亞伯蘭妻名撒萊、拿鶴妻名密迦、密迦暨亦迦、俱哈蘭之女、撒萊不妊、無子、他拉挈子亞伯蘭、及孫、即哈蘭子羅得、並子婦撒萊、即亞伯蘭妻、咸出迦勒底之吾珥、欲往迦南、至於哈蘭居焉、

我儕因愛兄弟、知已出死入生、不愛者仍居於死、凡惡兄弟、乃殺人者也、爾知殺人者、永生不寓其衷、主為我舍生、我於此而知愛、亦宜為兄弟舍生也、凡有斯世之財產者、視兄弟匱乏、自塞其矜恤之心、則上帝之愛烏得寓其衷哉、小子乎、我儕之愛、勿以言以舌、乃以行以誠也、於此知我儕由於真理、凡我心所自責者、則將安之於上帝前、

於虔益友愛、於友愛益仁慈、

爾凡所行、毋私議、毋爭辯、

遣兄弟歸、曰、途間慎毋相爭、

人自謂在光中、而惡兄弟、乃尚在暗中也、愛兄弟者、乃居光中、無由傾躓、惟惡兄弟者、乃在暗中、且行於暗中、不知所往、因暗盲其目也、○

暴怒者啟爭端、忍怒者息爭競、

兄弟相愛宜親厚、相敬則先施、

翌日復出、見希伯來二人鬥、謂不義者曰、曷擊爾同儔、

宜務和平及清潔於眾、蓋非清潔未有見主者、

溫和之應對息忿、暴厲之言詞激怒、

至於愛兄弟、無庸書以示爾、因爾自受教於上帝以相愛矣、

要之、僉宜同心、體恤、友愛、慈憐、謙遜、

遠爭為人之榮、愚人乃務啟釁、

惟自上之智、則首貞潔、次和平、溫良、柔順、充以矜恤與善果、無貳無偽、仁義之果、乃以和致和者之所播也、

悉以謙遜溫柔恆忍、以愛相恕、以和平相維繫、務守聖神之合一、

首要者、宜切心相愛、蓋愛蔽多罪、

爾既循真理以潔乃心、致愛兄弟無偽、則宜切心相愛、

兄弟之愛、宜恆存之、

致和者福矣、以其將稱為上帝子也、

宜敬眾人、愛兄弟、畏上帝、尊君王、○
