especially those who follow the polluting desires of the flesh and despise authority. Bold, arrogant people! They are not afraid to slander the glorious ones;

Then the LORD said,“ The outcry against Sodom and Gomorrah is immense, and their sin is extremely serious.

Go and learn what this means: I desire mercy and not sacrifice. For I didn’t come to call the righteous, but sinners.”

and if he reduced the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah to ashes and condemned them to extinction, making them an example of what is coming to the ungodly;and if he rescued righteous Lot, distressed by the depraved behavior of the immoral( for as that righteous man lived among them day by day, his righteous soul was tormented by the lawless deeds he saw and heard)—

Likewise, Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding towns committed sexual immorality and perversions, and serve as an example by undergoing the punishment of eternal fire.

Can a person hide in secret places where I cannot see him?”— the LORD’s declaration.“ Do I not fill the heavens and the earth?”— the LORD’s declaration.

For Jerusalem has stumbled and Judah has fallen because they have spoken and acted against the LORD, defying his glorious presence.The look on their faces testifies against them, and like Sodom, they flaunt their sin; they do not conceal it. Now we’ll do more harm to you than to them.” They put pressure on Lot and came up to break down the door.But the angels reached out, brought Lot into the house with them, and shut the door.They struck the men who were at the entrance of the house, both young and old, with blindness so that they were unable to find the entrance.

He was a powerful hunter in the sight of the LORD. That is why it is said,“ Like Nimrod, a powerful hunter in the sight of the LORD.”

And you, Capernaum, will you be exalted to heaven? No, you will go down to Hades. For if the miracles that were done in you had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until today.But I tell you, it will be more tolerable for the land of Sodom on the day of judgment than for you.”

If the LORD of Armies had not left us a few survivors, we would be like Sodom, we would resemble Gomorrah.

We know that God doesn’t listen to sinners, but if anyone is God-fearing and does his will, he listens to him.
