侍臣曰、必為王採訪名姝。遣使臣選天下各州美女、至書山城、以充後宮、令內豎希其掌之、賜以芬芳、薰沐其身。惟王所喜、册立為后、以代瓦實地、王悅。書山城有猶大人木底改者、即便雅憫族、基士曾孫、示每孫、睚耳子也。昔巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒、擄猶大王約雅金、及其民人、自耶路撒冷至國、其祖亦同虜焉。其叔之女哈大沙、又名以士帖、有殊色、父母既沒、木底改養之、視若己女。王詔既頒、眾女咸至書山城、以士帖亦入王宮、內豎希其掌其事。希其見以士帖大悅、加恩優渥、畀以芳馨、薰沐其身、賜宮嬪七人、供以所需、居以別院。以士帖從木底改所言、不以何族所出告人。木底改日往來於禁闥之外、欲得以士帖好音、眾女薰沐、例用沒藥之油半載、芬芳之品半載、以潔其身、屆期、眾女依次覲王、出禁闥入宮進御時、一切文繡璣組、隨其所欲、無不供給、夕往朝回、居於偏院、內豎沙甲掌之、如王不悅、不以名召、則不得復見。木底改叔亞庇孩也、其女以士帖、木底改撫育、視若己女、屆期、進御、除內豎希其所賜而外、一無所索、見者盡悅其美。七年十月、即底伯月、以士帖入宮進御、
