主諭亞伯蘭曰、爾可離故土親族父家、往我將示爾之地、

The Lord had said to Abram,“ Go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you.

Now the Lord had said to Abram:“ Get out of your country, From your family And from your father’s house, To a land that I will show you.

Now Jehovah said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto the land that I will show thee:

By faith Abraham, when he was called, obeyed by going out to a place which he was to receive for an inheritance; and he left, not knowing where he was going.

And Stephen said,“ Listen to me, brothers and fathers! The God of glory appeared to our father Abraham when he was in Mesopotamia, before he lived in Haran,and He said to him,‘ Go from your country and your relatives, and come to the land which I will show you.’Then he left the land of the Chaldeans and settled in Haran. And from there, after his father died, God had him move to this country in which you are now living.But He gave him no inheritance in it, not even a foot of ground, and yet, He promised that He would give it to him as a possession, and to his descendants after him, even though he had no child.But God spoke to this effect, that his descendants would be strangers in a land that was not theirs, and they would enslave and mistreat them for four hundred years.

Joshua said to all the people,“ This is what the Lord, the God of Israel says:‘ From ancient times your fathers lived beyond the Euphrates River, namely, Terah, the father of Abraham and the father of Nahor, and they served other gods.Then I took your father Abraham from beyond the Euphrates River and led him through all the land of Canaan, and multiplied his descendants and gave him Isaac.

Look to Abraham your father And to Sarah who gave birth to you in pain; When he was only one I called him, Then I blessed him and multiplied him.”

You are the Lord God, Who chose Abram And brought him out from Ur of the Chaldees, And gave him the name Abraham.

“ If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his own father, mother, wife, children, brothers, sisters, yes, and even his own life, he cannot be My disciple.Whoever does not carry his own cross and come after Me cannot be My disciple.For which one of you, when he wants to build a tower, does not first sit down and calculate the cost, to see if he has enough to complete it?Otherwise, when he has laid a foundation and is not able to finish, all who are watching it will begin to ridicule him,saying,‘ This person began to build, and was not able to finish!’Or what king, when he sets out to meet another king in battle, will not first sit down and consider whether he is strong enough with ten thousand men to face the one coming against him with twenty thousand?Otherwise, while the other is still far away, he sends a delegation and requests terms of peace.So then, none of you can be My disciple who does not give up all his own possessions.

Now Terah took his son Abram, and Lot the son of Haran, his grandson, and his daughter in law Sarai, his son Abram’s wife, and they departed together from Ur of the Chaldeans to go to the land of Canaan; and they went as far as Haran and settled there.The days of Terah were 205 years; and Terah died in Haran.

“ Son of man, they who live in these ruins in the land of Israel are saying,‘ Abraham was only one, yet he possessed the land; so to us who are many the land has been given as a possession.’

And He said to him,“ I am the Lord who brought you out of Ur of the Chaldeans, to give you this land to possess it.”

You whom I have taken from the ends of the earth And called from its remotest parts, And said to you,‘ You are My servant, I have chosen you and have not rejected you.

I heard another voice from heaven, saying,“ Come out of her, my people, so that you will not participate in her sins and receive any of her plagues;

Therefore, come out from their midst and be separate,” says the Lord.“ And do not touch what is unclean; And I will welcome you.

Listen, daughter, look and incline your ear: Forget your people and your father’s house;Then the King will crave your beauty. Because He is your Lord, bow down to Him.
