And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.

And God said,“ Let there be a vault between the waters to separate water from water.”

God said,“ Let there be a huge space between the waters. Let it separate water from water.”

And God said,“ Let there be an expanse in the midst of the waters, and let it separate the waters from the waters.”

Then God said,“ Let there be a space between the waters, to separate the waters of the heavens from the waters of the earth.”

Then God said,“ Let there be an expanse between the waters, separating water from water.”

Then God said,“ Let there be an expanse in the midst of the waters, and let it separate the waters from the waters.”

Then God said,“ Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.”

Then God said,“ Let there be an expanse between the waters, separating water from water.”

Hast thou with him spread out the sky,[ which is] strong,[ and] as a molten looking glass?

Who coverest[ thyself] with light as[ with] a garment: who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain:

He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and hath stretched out the heaven by his understanding.

By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.

He stretcheth out the north over the empty place,[ and] hangeth the earth upon nothing.He bindeth up the waters in his thick clouds; and the cloud is not rent under them.

For he spake, and it was[ done]; he commanded, and it stood fast.

He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and hath stretched out the heavens by his discretion.When he uttereth his voice,[ there is] a multitude of waters in the heavens, and he causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings with rain, and bringeth forth the wind out of his treasures.

To him that by wisdom made the heavens: for his mercy[ endureth] for ever.To him that stretched out the earth above the waters: for his mercy[ endureth] for ever.

And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl[ that] may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.

The burden of the word of the LORD for Israel, saith the LORD, which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him.

The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.

In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened.And the rain was upon the earth forty days and forty nights.

If the clouds be full of rain, they empty[ themselves] upon the earth: and if the tree fall toward the south, or toward the north, in the place where the tree falleth, there it shall be.

Hast thou entered into the treasures of the snow? or hast thou seen the treasures of the hail,Which I have reserved against the time of trouble, against the day of battle and war?By what way is the light parted,[ which] scattereth the east wind upon the earth?Who hath divided a watercourse for the overflowing of waters, or a way for the lightning of thunder;To cause it to rain on the earth,[ where] no man[ is; on] the wilderness, wherein[ there is] no man;

By his spirit he hath garnished the heavens; his hand hath formed the crooked serpent.

Also by watering he wearieth the thick cloud: he scattereth his bright cloud:

And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:

Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that[ be] above the heavens.

But the LORD[ is] the true God, he[ is] the living God, and an everlasting king: at his wrath the earth shall tremble, and the nations shall not be able to abide his indignation.

Praise ye the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power.
