And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein[ there is] life,[ I have given] every green herb for meat: and it was so.

至地上走獸、空中飛鳥、暨動於地上之生物、我賜之青草以為食、有如此也、

亦以草萊予走獸、飛鳥、昆蟲、生物食之、有如此也。

至於地上走獸、空中飛鳥、及動於地之諸生物、我賜以青草為食、有如此也、

And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds in the sky and all the creatures that move along the ground— everything that has the breath of life in it— I give every green plant for food.” And it was so.

I am giving every green plant as food for all the land animals and for all the birds in the sky. I am also giving the plants to all the creatures that move along the ground. I am giving them to every living thing that breathes.” And that’s exactly what happened.

And to every beast of the earth and to every bird of the heavens and to everything that creeps on the earth, everything that has the breath of life, I have given every green plant for food.” And it was so.

And I have given every green plant as food for all the wild animals, the birds in the sky, and the small animals that scurry along the ground— everything that has life.” And that is what happened.

He giveth to the beast his food,[ and] to the young ravens which cry.

The eyes of all wait upon thee; and thou givest them their meat in due season.Thou openest thine hand, and satisfiest the desire of every living thing.

He causeth the grass to grow for the cattle, and herb for the service of man: that he may bring forth food out of the earth;

Surely the mountains bring him forth food, where all the beasts of the field play.

Wilt thou hunt the prey for the lion? or fill the appetite of the young lions,When they couch in[ their] dens,[ and] abide in the covert to lie in wait?Who provideth for the raven his food? when his young ones cry unto God, they wander for lack of meat.

Behold now behemoth, which I made with thee; he eateth grass as an ox.

Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things.

The range of the mountains[ is] his pasture, and he searcheth after every green thing.

Their young ones are in good liking, they grow up with corn; they go forth, and return not unto them.

Her young ones also suck up blood: and where the slain[ are], there[ is] she.
