God blessed them and said to them,“ Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.”

天主許福於挪亞及其子曰、生育眾多、滿盈於地、

爾曹生育眾多、昌熾蕃衍於地、

我必眷顧爾、使爾昌熾繁庶、我與爾所立之約必踐之、

主創造諸天、獨為天主、造地、闢而定之、非徒造之、乃使人居於其上、主如是云、我乃主、我之外無他、

天主許之以福曰、生育眾多、充滿於海、禽鳥亦蕃衍於地、

若非主建造房室、匠人勞苦、亦屬枉然、若非主保護城池、守者警醒、亦為無益、爾曹早起遲眠、辛苦求食、亦屬徒勞、惟主所喜愛者、主必使之安然寢寐、子女乃主所賜、胎之所產、皆主賞賚、壯年所生之男子、如勇士手中之箭、人多男子、猶箭充滿箭囊、即為有福、

偕爾之生物、飛鳥六畜、動於地之昆蟲、皆攜之出、使滋生產育蕃衍於地、

爾妻在室中、如多果之葡萄樹、爾子女如油果樹、皆圍繞爾席、敬畏主之人、必如此蒙福、

必賜福於爾、使爾後裔眾多、如天上之星、如海濱之沙、爾後裔必得敵之城邑為業、緣爾遵行我命、天下萬民、將藉爾後裔得福、

雅比斯禱以色列之天主曰、求主賜福於我、廣我境土、常眷祐我、免我遭患難、有愁苦、天主允其所求、

主降之福祉、使之人丁甚多、牲畜繁盛、

我必賜之以福、使之從爾生子、我必賜之以福、使為列族之母、列邦之王必由彼出、

至於以實瑪利、我已應爾所求、必賜之以福、使其後裔蕃衍昌熾、必生十二牧伯、我必使之為大族、

六子亞米利、七子以薩迦、八子毘烏利太、蓋天主賜福於俄別以東、

是夜、主顯現諭之曰、我乃爾父亞伯拉罕之天主、毋懼、為我僕亞伯拉罕故、我必祐爾、賜福於爾、使爾後裔眾多、

惟願爾父之天主輔助爾、全能天主、賜福於爾、上自高天所降之福、下自深淵所出之福、賜爾產育乳哺之福、賜爾產育乳哺之福原文作賜爾乳與胎之福

以掃舉目見婦與子問曰、此偕爾者為誰、曰、此諸子、天主施恩賜於僕者也、
