並且穿上了新人。這新人照著創造他那一位的形像不斷地被更新，以致真正認識他。

並且穿上新人；這新人是照著神的形像，在真理的公義和聖潔中被造成的。

耶和華神說：「看哪，那人已經與我們相似，知道善惡；現在恐怕他又伸出手，取生命樹的果實來吃，那樣他就會永遠活著。」

啊，人算什麼，你竟顧念他！世人算什麼，你竟眷顧他！你使他比神低微一點，賜給他榮耀威嚴為冠冕。你讓他管轄你手所造的，把萬有都放在他的腳下，就是所有的羊群、牛群、田野的走獸、天空的鳥、海裡的魚，以及所有游在海中之路的。

而且臉上的帕子既然被揭去了，我們大家就像鏡子返照出主的榮光，正在被改變成與主同樣的形像，從榮耀歸入榮耀，這正是出於主——聖靈。

要知道耶和華是神，是他造了我們，我們屬於他；我們是他的子民，是他牧場的群羊。

我們用這舌頭頌讚我們的主——我們的父，又用這舌頭來詛咒照著神的形像被造的人。

以下是亞當譜系的記錄：在神創造人的日子，神按著自己的樣式造人；

大地一切的野獸、天空一切的飛鳥、地上一切的爬行之物、海裡一切的魚，都會畏懼你們、害怕你們；牠們都已經交在你們的手中了。一切有生命的動物，都可以作你們的食物；我把這一切賜給了你們，就像我把綠色植物賜給你們一樣。只是帶著生命之血的肉，你們不可吃。

愛子是那不可見之神的形像，是一切被造之物的長子，

耶和華啊，現在你仍是我們的父！我們是陶泥，你是我們的陶匠，我們都是你手的作為。

男人本來不應該遮蓋著頭，因為他是神的形像和榮耀，而女人是男人的榮耀。

但是有人在經上某處鄭重地見證說：「人算什麼，你竟然顧念他？人之子算什麼，你竟然照顧他？你使他暫時比天使低微；你賜他榮耀和尊貴為冠冕；你使萬有都服從在他的腳下。」既然神使萬有都服從他，就沒有留下一樣不服從他；但如今，我們還沒有看見萬有都服從他。不過我們看見的是：那暫時比天使低微的耶穌，因著死亡的痛苦被賜予榮耀和尊貴為冠冕，好使他藉著神的恩典，替所有的人嘗了死的滋味。

對於他們，這世代的神把這些不信之人的心眼弄瞎了，使他們不能洞察基督榮耀的福音之光。基督就是神的形像。

那殺人流血的，他必被殺流血，因為神是按照自己的形像造人的。

看哪，我只發現了一件事，就是神造人原是正直的，但人卻尋找許多詭計。」

耶穌回答說：「如果有人愛我，他就會遵守我的話語，我父也會愛他，而且我們將要來到他那裡，並且在他那裡安置我們的住處。

願以色列因造他的主而歡喜，願錫安的兒女因他們的王而快樂！

因為我們活著、行動、生存，都在於他，正如你們中間的一些詩人也曾經說過，『原來我們也是他的後裔。』所以我們既然是神的後裔，就不應該認為神性是彷彿用人的手藝和心思所雕刻的金、銀、石像。

你設立黑暗，就有了夜，森林中的百獸在夜間爬行；少壯獅子吼叫獵食，尋求來自神的食物。太陽升起，牠們就退回，到自己的巢穴裡躺臥；而人出去工作，勞碌直到傍晚。耶和華啊，你所做的何其多！你藉著智慧成就了這一切，大地充滿了你的創造；

原來，各類野獸、飛禽、爬行動物和水族都能被制伏，也已經被人類制伏了，

他從一個人造出人類萬族，使他們住在整個地面上，預先設定了他們的年限和所住的疆界，

來吧！讓我們下去，在那裡把他們的語言變亂，使他們彼此聽不懂對方的語言。」

我又聽見主的聲音說：「我可以差遣誰呢？誰肯為我們去呢？」我就說：「我在這裡，差遣我！」

耶穌卻對他們說：「直到如今，我父在做工，我也在做工。」

既然你帶來了一些奇怪的事，傳到我們耳中，那麼我們想知道這些事到底是什麼意思。」
