神就賜福給這一切，說：「要繁殖增多，充滿在海的水裏；飛鳥也要在地上增多。」

God blessed them and said,“ Be fruitful and increase in number and fill the water in the seas, and let the birds increase on the earth.”

凡與你一起有血肉的生物，就是飛鳥、牲畜和地上爬的一切爬行動物，都要帶出來。牠們要在地上滋生，繁殖增多。」

神賜福給他們，神對他們說：「要生養眾多，遍滿這地，治理它；要管理海裏的魚、天空的鳥和地上各樣活動的生物。」

他賜福給他們，使他們生養眾多，也不叫他們的牲畜減少。

這樣，耶和華後來賜福給約伯比先前更多。他有一萬四千隻羊，六千匹駱駝，一千對牛，一千匹母驢。

「看哪，我造河馬，也造了你；牠吃草像牛一樣。

神賜福給挪亞和他的兒子，對他們說：「你們要生養眾多，遍滿這地。

你妻子在你內室，好像多結果子的葡萄樹；你兒女圍繞你的桌子，如同橄欖樹苗。

我要眷顧你們，使你們生養眾多，也要與你們堅立我的約。

我們的倉盈滿，能供應各種糧食；我們的羊在田野孳生千萬。我們的牲口馱滿貨物，沒有人闖進來搶奪，也沒有人出去爭戰；我們的街市上也沒有哭號的聲音。

耶和華所賜的福使人富足，並不加上憂慮。

但願人因耶和華的慈愛和他向人所做的奇事都稱謝他。

拉班對他說：「願你看得起我，因我占卜得知，耶和華賜福給我是因你的緣故。」

我未來以前，你擁有的很少，現在卻已大量增加，因為耶和華隨着我的腳步賜福給你。現在，我到甚麼時候才可以成家立業呢？」

神又對他說：「我是全能的神；你要生養眾多，將來有一國和許多的國從你而來，又有許多君王從你生出。
