陸地長出了植物——各類結種子的菜蔬和結果子的樹木，果子內都有籽。上帝看了，感到滿意。

于是地发生了青草和结种子的菜蔬，各从其类；并结果子的树木，各从其类；果子都包着核。神看着是好的。

The land produced vegetation: plants bearing seed according to their kinds and trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good.

So the land produced plants. Each kind of plant had its own kind of seeds. And the land produced trees that grew fruit with seeds in it. Each kind of tree had its own kind of seeds. God saw that it was good.

The earth brought forth vegetation, plants yielding seed according to their own kinds, and trees bearing fruit in which is their seed, each according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.

雨雪從天降下，並不返回，而是要滋潤大地，使地上的植物發芽生長，叫播種的有種子，吃飯的有食糧。同樣，我口中所出的話也不會徒然返回，而是要成就我的旨意，實現我的計劃。

大地會使種子生長，先發苗後吐穗，最終結出飽滿的籽粒。

樹的好壞從果子就可以分辨出來。人不會從荊棘中採集無花果，也不會在蒺藜上摘取葡萄。

大地怎樣使嫩苗長出，園子怎樣使種子發芽，主耶和華必照樣使公義與頌讚在萬民中滋長。

耶穌又給他們講了一個比喻，說：「天國就像一個人，將好種子撒在田裡。人們睡覺的時候，仇敵過來把毒麥撒在他的麥田裡，就走了。當麥子長苗吐穗時，毒麥也長起來了。

賜農夫種子又賜人糧食的上帝，必加倍賜給你們種子，使你們收穫更多仁義的果子，

不要自欺，上帝是輕慢不得的。人種什麼收什麼。
