弟兄们，为你们的缘故，我拿这些事应用到我自己和亚波罗身上，让你们从我们学到“不可过于圣经所记”这话的意思，免得你们自高自大，看重这个，看轻那个。使你与人不同的是谁呢？你所有的有哪一个不是领受的呢？若是领受的，为何自夸，仿佛不是领受的呢？

法利赛人独自站着，自言自语地祷告说：‘上帝啊，我感谢你，我不像别人勒索、不义、奸淫，也不像这个税吏。

他们那些受割礼的，连自己也不守律法；他们要你们受割礼，不过是要拿你们的肉体夸口。
