蓋若輩雖受割禮、自身亦何嘗遵守禮法。其所以欲爾同受割禮者、惟欲借爾之形體、為彼炫耀之資耳。

Not even those who are circumcised keep the law, yet they want you to be circumcised that they may boast about your circumcision in the flesh.

Even those who are circumcised don’t obey the law. But they want you to be circumcised. Then they can brag about what has been done to your body.

你们这样自夸是不好的。你们不知道一点面酵能使全团发起来吗？

因为真受割礼的，就是我们这藉着上帝的灵敬拜、以基督耶稣为夸耀、不依靠肉体的。

但是你，你既自称为犹太人，倚靠律法，以上帝夸口，知道上帝的旨意，从律法受了教导而能分辨是非；你既深信自己是给盲人领路的，是在黑暗中人的光，是无知的人的师傅，是小孩子的老师，体现了律法中的知识和真理；那么，你这教导别人的，还不教导自己吗？你这宣讲不可偷窃的，自己还偷窃吗？你这说不可奸淫的，自己还奸淫吗？你这厌恶偶像的，自己还抢劫庙中之物吗？你这以律法夸口的，自己倒违犯律法，羞辱上帝！上帝的名在外邦人中因你们受了亵渎，正如经上所记的。你若遵行律法，割礼固然于你有益；若违犯律法，你的割礼就算不得割礼。

“你们这假冒为善的文士和法利赛人有祸了！因为你们走遍海洋陆地，说服一个人入教，既入了教，却使他成为比你们加倍坏的地狱之子。

所以，无论谁都不可夸耀人；因为万有都是你们的，

所以凡他们所吩咐你们的，你们都要谨守遵行。但不要效法他们的行为，因为他们能说不能行。

“你们这假冒为善的文士和法利赛人有祸了！因为你们将薄荷、大茴香、小茴香献上十分之一，那律法上更重要的事，就是公义、怜悯、信实，你们反倒不做；这原是你们该做的—至于那些奉献也不可废弃。

他们应许人自由，自己却作了腐败的奴隶，因为人被谁制伏就是谁的奴隶。

那又怎么样呢？我们比他们强吗？绝不是！因我们已经指证：犹太人和希腊人都在罪恶之下。就如经上所记：“没有义人，连一个也没有。没有明白的，没有寻求上帝的。人人偏离正路，一同走向败坏。没有行善的，连一个也没有。他们的喉咙是敞开的坟墓；他们的舌头玩弄诡诈。他们的嘴唇里有毒蛇的毒液，满口是咒骂苦毒。他们的脚为杀人流血飞跑；他们的路留下毁坏和灾难。和平的路，他们不认识；他们眼中不怕上帝。”我们知道律法所说的话都是对律法之下的人说的，好塞住各人的口，使普世的人都伏在上帝的审判之下。

既然有好些人凭着血气在夸口，我也要夸口了。
