爾之自誇、非善也、豈不知些須之酵、能發全團乎、

我儕心事天主、以基督耶穌為誇、不恃外貌、外貌原文作肉軀下同是真受割禮者、

爾稱為猶太人、以律法是依、以天主為榮、為榮或作自誇既習於律法、得知其旨、能辨是非、自信為瞽者之相、在暗者之光、愚者之師、蒙者之傅、因在律法有知識及真理之模範、然則爾訓他人、而不訓己乎、爾言勿竊、而自竊乎、爾言勿姦、而自姦乎、爾惡偶像、而竊廟中物乎、爾以律法為誇、而自犯律法辱天主乎、天主名緣爾曹受謗讟於異邦人中、如經所載矣、○爾若遵行律法、割禮有益、若犯律法、雖受割禮、亦若未受、

禍哉爾偽善之經士與法利賽人、因爾周行水陸、導一人進教、及進教、使之為磯很拿之人、較倍於爾也、

故勿以人而誇、蓋一切屬爾、

故彼凡命爾守者、當守而行之、但勿效其所為、以其言而不行也、

禍哉爾偽善之經士與法利賽人、因爾以薄荷、茴香、芹菜、十輸其一、但律法之尤重者、即義與仁與信、爾則遺之、此爾所當行者也、而彼亦不可遺、

以自由許人、而己為罪惡之奴、蓋勝人者、人即為其奴也、

然則何歟、我儕猶太人有所、勝乎、無有、我已明證猶太人、希拉人、皆服罪、如經載云、無有義人、即一義人亦無有、無人曉悟、無人尋求天主、皆棄正道、同為無用、無有行善者、即一亦無有、其喉似已開之墓、其舌施詭詐、其唇藏蝮毒、其口充咒詛惡言、其足疾趨以流人血、所經之途、徧加殘害苦難、不知平康之路、目中無天主可畏、我儕知律法所言、為律法下之人言之、以塞諸口、使舉世服罪於天主前、

有多人以外貌自誇、則我亦自誇、
