蓋若輩雖受割禮、自身亦何嘗遵守禮法。其所以欲爾同受割禮者、惟欲借爾之形體、為彼炫耀之資耳。

Not even those who are circumcised keep the law, yet they want you to be circumcised that they may boast about your circumcision in the flesh.

Even those who are circumcised don’t obey the law. But they want you to be circumcised. Then they can brag about what has been done to your body.

For even those who are circumcised do not themselves keep the law, but they desire to have you circumcised that they may boast in your flesh.

你们这样自夸是不好的。你们不知道一点面酵能使全团面发起来吗？

其实我们这些靠神的灵来敬拜，在基督耶稣里夸口而不倚靠肉体的人，才是受割礼的，

你身为犹太人，倚靠律法，仗着神夸口，而且明白他的旨意，又从律法得了教导，能够辨别什么是好的，自信是瞎子的向导，在黑暗中的人的光，愚昧人的导师，小孩子的教师，在律法上得了整套的知识和真理；你既然教导别人，难道不教导自己吗？你传讲不可偷窃，自己却偷窃吗？你说不可奸淫，自己却奸淫吗？你憎恶偶像，自己却劫掠庙宇吗？你既然以律法夸口，自己却因犯律法而羞辱神吗？正如经上所说的：“神的名，因你们的缘故在列邦中被亵渎。”你若遵行律法，割礼固然有益处；但你若是犯律法的，你的割礼就不是割礼了。

“虚伪的经学家和法利赛人哪，你们有祸了！你们走遍海洋陆地，要使一个人入教；当他入了教，你们却使他沦为地狱之子，比你们更甚。

所以，谁都不可拿人来夸耀，因为一切都是你们的。

所以凡他们吩咐你们的，你们都要遵行和谨守，但不可效法他们的行为，因为他们只会说而不去作。

“虚伪的经学家和法利赛人哪，你们有祸了！你们把薄荷、茴香、芹菜，献上十分之一，却忽略律法上更重要的，就如正义、怜悯和信实；这些更重要的是你们应当作的，但其他的也不可忽略。

他们应许给人自由，自己却作了败坏的奴仆；因为人给谁制伏了，就作谁的奴仆。

那又怎么样呢？我们比他们强吗？绝不是的。因为我们已经控诉过，无论是犹太人或是希腊人，都在罪恶之下，正如经上所说：“没有义人，连一个也没有，没有明白的，没有寻求神的；人人都偏离了正道，一同变成污秽；没有行善的，连一个也没有。他们的喉咙是敞开的坟墓，他们用舌头弄诡诈，他们嘴里有虺蛇的毒，满口是咒骂和恶毒；为了杀人流血，他们的脚步飞快，在经过的路上留下毁灭和悲惨。和睦之道，他们不晓得，他们的眼中也不怕神。”然而我们晓得，凡律法所说的，都是对在律法之下的人说的，好让每一个人都没有话可讲，使全世界的人都伏在神的审判之下。

既然有许多人按着世俗的标准夸口，我也要夸口。
