爾禁食禁食或作守齋下同時、毋作憂容、似偽善者、彼變顏色、為示人以己之禁食、我誠告爾、彼已得其賞、

吞嫠婦之家貲、佯為長禱、其受刑必尤重也、

勿各顧己事、亦當顧人之事、

有自譽者、我儕不敢與之相同、與之相較、彼以己度己、以己較己、乃不智也、

故施濟時、勿吹角於爾前、似偽善者、於會堂街衢所為、求譽於人、我誠告爾、彼已得其賞、

爾曹亦若是、外見於人為義、而內則充滿偽善及非法、○

我見其行不正、不遵福音之真、乃於眾前謂磯法曰、爾猶太人也、既行如異邦人、非如猶太人、何又強異邦人、行如猶太人乎、

我屢告爾、今流淚又告爾、有多人行事與基督之十字架為敵者、

爾祈禱時、勿似偽善者、喜立於會堂及街衢而祈禱、故令人見、我誠告爾、彼已得其賞、
