弟兄们，我若仍旧传割礼，为什么还受逼迫呢？若是这样，那十字架讨厌的地方就没有了。

有几个人从犹太下来，教训弟兄们说：“你们若不按摩西的规条受割礼，不能得救。”

但与我同去的提多，虽是希腊人，也没有勉强他受割礼；

这些规条使人徒有智慧之名，用私意崇拜，自表谦卑，苦待己身，其实在克制肉体的情欲上是毫无功效。

那等人是假使徒，行事诡诈，装作基督使徒的模样。

人凭着自己说，是求自己的荣耀；惟有求那差他来者的荣耀，这人是真的，在他心里没有不义。

他们一切所做的事都是要叫人看见，所以将佩戴的经文做宽了，衣裳的繸子做长了，

惟有几个信徒是法利赛教门的人，起来说：“必须给外邦人行割礼，吩咐他们遵守摩西的律法。”

有的传基督是出于嫉妒纷争，也有的是出于好意。

他们那些受割礼的，连自己也不守律法；他们愿意你们受割礼，不过要藉着你们的肉体夸口。

耶稣对他们说：“你们是在人面前自称为义的，你们的心，神却知道；因为人所尊贵的，是神看为可憎恶的。

“你们禁食的时候，不可像那假冒为善的人，脸上带着愁容；因为他们把脸弄得难看，故意叫人看出他们是禁食。我实在告诉你们，他们已经得了他们的赏赐。

他们侵吞寡妇的家产，假意作很长的祷告。这些人要受更重的刑罚！”

各人不要单顾自己的事，也要顾别人的事。

因为我们不敢将自己和那自荐的人同列相比。他们用自己度量自己，用自己比较自己，乃是不通达的。

所以，你施舍的时候，不可在你前面吹号，像那假冒为善的人在会堂里和街道上所行的，故意要得人的荣耀。我实在告诉你们，他们已经得了他们的赏赐。

你们也是如此，在人前，外面显出公义来，里面却装满了假善和不法的事。

但我一看见他们行的不正，与福音的真理不合，就在众人面前对矶法说：“你既是犹太人，若随外邦人行事，不随犹太人行事，怎么还勉强外邦人随犹太人呢？”

因为有许多人行事是基督十字架的仇敌。我屡次告诉你们，现在又流泪地告诉你们：

“你们祷告的时候，不可像那假冒为善的人，爱站在会堂里和十字路口上祷告，故意叫人看见。我实在告诉你们，他们已经得了他们的赏赐。
