You who are trying to be justified by the law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace.

Some of you are trying to be made right with God by obeying the law. You have been separated from Christ. You have fallen away from God’s grace.

You are severed from Christ, you who would be justified by the law; you have fallen away from grace.

For if you are trying to make yourselves right with God by keeping the law, you have been cut off from Christ! You have fallen away from God’s grace.

I do not make void the grace of God: for if righteousness is through the law, then Christ died for nought.

because by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified in his sight; for through the law cometh the knowledge of sin.

Behold, I Paul say unto you, that, if ye receive circumcision, Christ will profit you nothing.

For as touching those who were once enlightened and tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Spirit,and tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the age to come,and then fell away, it is impossible to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.

For being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and seeking to establish their own, they did not subject themselves to the righteousness of God.For Christ is the end of the law unto righteousness to every one that believeth.For Moses writeth that the man that doeth the righteousness which is of the law shall live thereby.

Remember therefore whence thou art fallen, and repent and do the first works; or else I come to thee, and will move thy candlestick out of its place, except thou repent.

I marvel that ye are so quickly removing from him that called you in the grace of Christ unto a different gospel;which is not another gospel: only there are some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.But though we, or an angel from heaven, should preach unto you any gospel other than that which we preached unto you, let him be anathema.As we have said before, so say I now again, If any man preacheth unto you any gospel other than that which ye received, let him be anathema.

Ye therefore, beloved, knowing these things beforehand, beware lest, being carried away with the error of the wicked, ye fall from your own stedfastness.But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and for ever. Amen.

But my righteous one shall live by faith: And if he shrink back, my soul hath no pleasure in him.But we are not of them that shrink back unto perdition; but of them that have faith unto the saving of the soul.
