Love is patient and is kind. Love doesn’t envy. Love doesn’t brag, is not proud,doesn’t behave itself inappropriately, doesn’t seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil;doesn’t rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth;bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things.

I am the vine. You are the branches. He who remains in me and I in him bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.

Every branch in me that doesn’t bear fruit, he takes away. Every branch that bears fruit, he prunes, that it may bear more fruit.

But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceful, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.

for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth,

Rejoice in the Lord always! Again I will say,“ Rejoice!”Let your gentleness be known to all men. He will be like a tree planted by the streams of water, that produces its fruit in its season, whose leaf also does not wither. Whatever he does shall prosper.

Beloved, let’s love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves has been born of God, and knows God.He who doesn’t love doesn’t know God, for God is love.By this God’s love was revealed in us, that God has sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.In this is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son as the atoning sacrifice for our sins.Beloved, if God loved us in this way, we also ought to love one another.No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God remains in us, and his love has been perfected in us.By this we know that we remain in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit.We have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son as the Savior of the world.Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God remains in him, and he in God.We know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and he who remains in love remains in God, and God remains in him.

That which fell among the thorns, these are those who have heard, and as they go on their way they are choked with cares, riches, and pleasures of life, and bring no fruit to maturity.Those in the good ground, these are those who with an honest and good heart, having heard the word, hold it tightly, and produce fruit with perseverance.

Yes, and for this very cause adding on your part all diligence, in your faith supply moral excellence; and in moral excellence, knowledge;and in knowledge, self- control; and in self- control perseverance; and in perseverance godliness;and in godliness brotherly affection; and in brotherly affection, love.For if these things are yours and abound, they make you to not be idle or unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

“ Either make the tree good, and its fruit good, or make the tree corrupt, and its fruit corrupt; for the tree is known by its fruit.

They will still produce fruit in old age. They will be full of sap and green,

Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor that which is evil. Cling to that which is good.In love of the brothers be tenderly affectionate to one another; in honor preferring one another;not lagging in diligence; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;rejoicing in hope; enduring in troubles; continuing steadfastly in prayer;contributing to the needs of the saints; given to hospitality.Bless those who persecute you; bless, and don’t curse.Rejoice with those who rejoice. But now faith, hope, and love remain— these three. The greatest of these is love.

For you, brothers, were called for freedom. Only don’t use your freedom for gain to the flesh, but through love be servants to one another.

By their fruits you will know them. Do you gather grapes from thorns, or figs from thistles?Even so, every good tree produces good fruit; but the corrupt tree produces evil fruit.A good tree can’t produce evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree produce good fruit.Every tree that doesn’t grow good fruit is cut down, and thrown into the fire.Therefore by their fruits you will know them.

Being therefore justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ;through whom we also have our access by faith into this grace in which we stand. If it bears fruit, fine; but if not, after that, you can cut it down.’”

For even Christ didn’t please himself. But, as it is written,“ The reproaches of those who reproached you fell on me.”

I myself am also persuaded about you, my brothers, that you yourselves are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, able also to admonish others.

that older men should be temperate, sensible, sober minded, sound in faith, in love, and in perseverance:and that older women likewise be reverent in behavior, not slanderers nor enslaved to much wine, teachers of that which is good,that they may train the young wives to love their husbands, to love their children,to be sober minded, chaste, workers at home, kind, being in subjection to their own husbands, that God’s word may not be blasphemed.Likewise, exhort the younger men to be sober minded.In all things be showing yourself an example of good works. In your teaching, be showing integrity, seriousness, incorruptibility,and soundness of speech that can’t be condemned, that he who opposes you may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say about us.Exhort servants to be in subjection to their own masters and to be well- pleasing in all things, not contradicting,not stealing, but showing all good fidelity, that they may adorn the doctrine of God, our Savior, in all things.For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men,instructing us to the intent that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we would live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present age;

Let no man despise your youth; but be an example to those who believe, in word, in your way of life, in love, in spirit, in faith, and in purity.

Through Silvanus, our faithful brother, as I consider him, I have written to you briefly, exhorting, and testifying that this is the true grace of God in which you stand.

who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.Therefore exhort one another, and build each other up, even as you also do.But we beg you, brothers, to know those who labor among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you,and to respect and honor them in love for their work’s sake. remembering without ceasing your work of faith and labor of love and perseverance of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, before our God and Father.We know, brothers loved by God, that you are chosen,and that our Good News came to you not in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Spirit, and with much assurance. You know what kind of men we showed ourselves to be among you for your sake.You became imitators of us and of the Lord, having received the word in much affliction, with joy of the Holy Spirit,so that you became an example to all who believe in Macedonia and in Achaia.For from you the word of the Lord has been declared, not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but also in every place your faith toward God has gone out, so that we need not to say anything.For they themselves report concerning us what kind of a reception we had from you, and how you turned to God from idols, to serve a living and true God,and to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead: Jesus, who delivers us from the wrath to come.

But now, being made free from sin and having become servants of God, you have your fruit of sanctification and the result of eternal life.

Ephraim, what have I to do any more with idols? I answer, and will take care of him. I am like a green cypress tree; from me your fruit is found.”

Their wives in the same way must be reverent, not slanderers, temperate, and faithful in all things.

and that we may be delivered from unreasonable and evil men; for not all have faith.
