Love suffereth long, and is kind; love envieth not; love vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not its own, is not provoked, taketh not account of evil;rejoiceth not in unrighteousness, but rejoiceth with the truth;beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same beareth much fruit: for apart from me ye can do nothing.

Every branch in me that beareth not fruit, he taketh it away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he cleanseth it, that it may bear more fruit.

But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without variance, without hypocrisy.And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace for them that make peace.

Ye did not choose me, but I chose you, and appointed you, that ye should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should abide: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

Wherefore, my brethren, ye also were made dead to the law through the body of Christ; that ye should be joined to another, even to him who was raised from the dead, that we might bring forth fruit unto God.

Seeing ye have purified your souls in your obedience to the truth unto unfeigned love of the brethren, love one another from the heart fervently:

Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is begotten of God, and knoweth God.He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.Herein was the love of God manifested in us, that God hath sent his only begotten Son into the world that we might live through him.Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.No man hath beheld God at any time: if we love one another, God abideth in us, and his love is perfected in us:hereby we know that we abide in him and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit.And we have beheld and bear witness that the Father hath sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God abideth in him, and he in God.And we know and have believed the love which God hath in us. God is love; and he that abideth in love abideth in God, and God abideth in him.

And that which fell among the thorns, these are they that have heard, and as they go on their way they are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection.And that in the good ground, these are such as in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, hold it fast, and bring forth fruit with patience.

Yea, and for this very cause adding on your part all diligence, in your faith supply virtue; and in your virtue knowledge;and in your knowledge self- control; and in your self- control patience; and in your patience godliness;and in your godliness brotherly kindness; and in your brotherly kindness love.For if these things are yours and abound, they make you to be not idle nor unfruitful unto the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Either make the tree good, and its fruit good; or make the tree corrupt, and its fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by its fruit.

They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; They shall be full of sap and green:

Let love be without hypocrisy. But now abideth faith, hope, love, these three; and the greatest of these is love.

to walk worthily of the Lord unto all pleasing, bearing fruit in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;

For ye, brethren, were called for freedom; only use not your freedom for an occasion to the flesh, but through love be servants one to another.

being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are through Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.

But I say, Walk by the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; for these are contrary the one to the other; that ye may not do the things that ye would.But if ye are led by the Spirit, ye are not under the law.

By their fruits ye shall know them. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but the corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.Therefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

Being therefore justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ;through whom also we have had our access by faith into this grace wherein we stand; and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God.And not only so, but we also rejoice in our tribulations: knowing that tribulation worketh stedfastness;and stedfastness, approvedness; and approvedness, hope:and hope putteth not to shame; because the love of God hath been shed abroad in our hearts through the Holy Spirit which was given unto us.

whom not having seen ye love; on whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice greatly with joy unspeakable and full of glory:

and if it bear fruit thenceforth, well; but if not, thou shalt cut it down.

For Christ also pleased not himself; but, as it is written, The reproaches of them that reproached thee fell upon me.

And I myself also am persuaded of you, my brethren, that ye yourselves are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, able also to admonish one another.

that aged men be temperate, grave, sober- minded, sound in faith, in love, in patience:that aged women likewise be reverent in demeanor, not slanderers nor enslaved to much wine, teachers of that which is good;that they may train the young women to love their husbands, to love their children,to be sober- minded, chaste, workers at home, kind, being in subjection to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed:the younger men likewise exhort to be sober- minded:in all things showing thyself an ensample of good works; in thy doctrine showing uncorruptness, gravity,sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of us.Exhort servants to be in subjection to their own masters, and to be well- pleasing to them in all things; not gainsaying;not purloining, but showing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things.For the grace of God hath appeared, bringing salvation to all men,instructing us, to the intent that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly and righteously and godly in this present world;

Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an ensample to them that believe, in word, in manner of life, in love, in faith, in purity.

By Silvanus, our faithful brother, as I account him, I have written unto you briefly, exhorting, and testifying that this is the true grace of God: stand ye fast therein.

who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.Wherefore exhort one another, and build each other up, even as also ye do.But we beseech you, brethren, to know them that labor among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you;and to esteem them exceeding highly in love for their work’s sake. Be at peace among yourselves.And we exhort you, brethren, admonish the disorderly, encourage the fainthearted, support the weak, be longsuffering toward all.See that none render unto any one evil for evil; but always follow after that which is good, one toward another, and toward all.Rejoice always;pray without ceasing;in everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus to you- ward.Quench not the Spirit;despise not prophesyings;prove all things; hold fast that which is good;abstain from every form of evil.

remembering without ceasing your work of faith and labor of love and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, before our God and Father;knowing, brethren beloved of God, your election,how that our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Spirit, and in much assurance; even as ye know what manner of men we showed ourselves toward you for your sake.And ye became imitators of us, and of the Lord, having received the word in much affliction, with joy of the Holy Spirit;so that ye became an ensample to all that believe in Macedonia and in Achaia.For from you hath sounded forth the word of the Lord, not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but in every place your faith to God- ward is gone forth; so that we need not to speak anything.For they themselves report concerning us what manner of entering in we had unto you; and how ye turned unto God from idols, to serve a living and true God,and to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, who delivereth us from the wrath to come.

But now being made free from sin and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto sanctification, and the end eternal life.

Ephraim shall say, What have I to do any more with idols? I have answered, and will regard him: I am like a green fir- tree; from me is thy fruit found.

Women in like manner must be grave, not slanderers, temperate, faithful in all things.

and that we may be delivered from unreasonable and evil men; for all have not faith.
