For you, brothers, were called for freedom. Only don’t use your freedom for gain to the flesh, but through love be servants to one another.

今兄弟等已蒙召而獲自由矣惟勿以自由為名、而行其放縱恣肆之實；務望以仁愛之精神、而彼此互相服務也。

You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love.

My brothers and sisters, you were chosen to be free. But don’t use your freedom as an excuse to live under the power of sin. Instead, serve one another in love.

For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.

For you have been called to live in freedom, my brothers and sisters. But don’t use your freedom to satisfy your sinful nature. Instead, use your freedom to serve one another in love.

For you were called to be free, brothers and sisters; only don’t use this freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but serve one another through love.

For you were called to freedom, brothers and sisters; only do not turn your freedom into an opportunity for the flesh, but serve one another through love.

For you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.

For ye, brethren, were called for freedom; only use not your freedom for an occasion to the flesh, but through love be servants one to another.

For you were called to be free, brothers; only don’t use this freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but serve one another through love.

For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only[ use] not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.

as free, and not using your freedom for a cloak of wickedness, but as bondservants of God.

For though I was free from all, I brought myself under bondage to all, that I might gain the more.

But be careful that by no means does this liberty of yours become a stumbling block to the weak.

Now we who are strong ought to bear the weaknesses of the weak, and not to please ourselves.Let each one of us please his neighbor for that which is good, to be building him up.

For the whole law is fulfilled in one word, in this:“ You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”

subjecting yourselves to one another in the fear of Christ.

Being made free from sin, you became bondservants of righteousness.I speak in human terms because of the weakness of your flesh, for as you presented your members as servants to uncleanness and to wickedness upon wickedness, even so now present your members as servants to righteousness for sanctification.For when you were servants of sin, you were free from righteousness.What fruit then did you have at that time in the things of which you are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death.But now, being made free from sin and having become servants of God, you have your fruit of sanctification and the result of eternal life.

Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.

that he might redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of children.And because you are children, God sent out the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying,“ Abba, Father!”So you are no longer a bondservant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.

The Lord Yahweh’s Spirit is on me, because Yahweh has anointed me to preach good news to the humble. He has sent me to bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and release to those who are bound,

Love is patient and is kind. Love doesn’t envy. Love doesn’t brag, is not proud,doesn’t behave itself inappropriately, doesn’t seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil;doesn’t rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth;bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things.

promising them liberty, while they themselves are bondservants of corruption; for a man is brought into bondage by whoever overcomes him.

And if a brother or sister is naked and in lack of daily food,and one of you tells them,“ Go in peace. Be warmed and filled;” yet you didn’t give them the things the body needs, what good is it?Even so faith, if it has no works, is dead in itself.

For there are certain men who crept in secretly, even those who were long ago written about for this condemnation: ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into indecency, and denying our only Master, God, and Lord, Jesus Christ.

In all things I gave you an example, that so laboring you ought to help the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that he himself said,‘ It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”

For we don’t preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake,

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith,

If I then, the Lord and the Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet.For I have given you an example, that you should also do as I have done to you.

But these speak evil of whatever things they don’t know. They are destroyed in these things that they understand naturally, like the creatures without reason.Woe to them! For they went in the way of Cain, and ran riotously in the error of Balaam for hire, and perished in Korah’s rebellion.These are hidden rocky reefs in your love feasts when they feast with you, shepherds who without fear feed themselves; clouds without water, carried along by winds; autumn trees without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;

But it shall not be so among you, but whoever wants to become great among you shall be your servant.Whoever of you wants to become first among you, shall be bondservant of all.For the Son of Man also came not to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

“ The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to heal the broken hearted, to proclaim release to the captives, recovering of sight to the blind, to deliver those who are crushed,

For it is written that Abraham had two sons, one by the servant, and one by the free woman.However, the son by the servant was born according to the flesh, but the son by the free woman was born through promise.These things contain an allegory, for these are two covenants. One is from Mount Sinai, bearing children to bondage, which is Hagar.For this Hagar is Mount Sinai in Arabia, and answers to the Jerusalem that exists now, for she is in bondage with her children.But the Jerusalem that is above is free, which is the mother of us all.For it is written,“ Rejoice, you barren who don’t bear. Break out and shout, you who don’t travail. For the desolate have more children than her who has a husband.”Now we, brothers, as Isaac was, are children of promise.But as then, he who was born according to the flesh persecuted him who was born according to the Spirit, so also it is now.However what does the Scripture say?“ Throw out the servant and her son, for the son of the servant will not inherit with the son of the free woman.”So then, brothers, we are not children of a servant, but of the free woman.Stand firm therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and don’t be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.

You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.”They answered him,“ We are Abraham’s offspring, and have never been in bondage to anyone. How do you say,‘ You will be made free’?”Jesus answered them,“ Most certainly I tell you, everyone who commits sin is the bondservant of sin.A bondservant doesn’t live in the house forever. A son remains forever.If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed.

I will most gladly spend and be spent for your souls. If I love you more abundantly, am I loved the less?
