I just wish that those troublemakers who want to mutilate you by circumcision would mutilate themselves.

As for those agitators, I wish they would go the whole way and emasculate themselves!

So then, what about troublemakers who try to get others to be circumcised? I wish they would go the whole way! I wish they would cut off everything that marks them as men!

I wish those who unsettle you would emasculate themselves!

I wish those who are disturbing you might also let themselves be mutilated!

I wish that those who are troubling you would even emasculate themselves.

I would that they that unsettle you would even go beyond circumcision.

I would they were even cut off which trouble you.

I wish those agitators would go so far as to castrate themselves!

I wish that those who disturb you would cut themselves off.

I am trusting the Lord to keep you from believing false teachings. God will judge that person, whoever he is, who has been confusing you.

If people are causing divisions among you, give a first and second warning. After that, have nothing more to do with them.

God will judge those on the outside; but as the Scriptures say,“ You must remove the evil person from among you.”

Then Joshua said to Achan,“ Why have you brought trouble on us? The Lord will now bring trouble on you.” And all the Israelites stoned Achan and his family and burned their bodies.

That is why the Israelites are running from their enemies in defeat. For now Israel itself has been set apart for destruction. I will not remain with you any longer unless you destroy the things among you that were set apart for destruction.

While Paul and Barnabas were at Antioch of Syria, some men from Judea arrived and began to teach the believers:“ Unless you are circumcised as required by the law of Moses, you cannot be saved.”Paul and Barnabas disagreed with them, arguing vehemently. Finally, the church decided to send Paul and Barnabas to Jerusalem, accompanied by some local believers, to talk to the apostles and elders about this question.

For seven days the bread you eat must be made without yeast. On the first day of the festival, remove every trace of yeast from your homes. Anyone who eats bread made with yeast during the seven days of the festival will be cut off from the community of Israel.

Anyone who makes a blend like it or anoints someone other than a priest will be cut off from the community.’”

As soon as Ananias heard these words, he fell to the floor and died. Everyone who heard about it was terrified.

Let God’s curse fall on anyone, including us or even an angel from heaven, who preaches a different kind of Good News than the one we preached to you.I say again what we have said before: If anyone preaches any other Good News than the one you welcomed, let that person be cursed.
