至於我呢、弟兄們，我若還在宣傳割禮，為甚麼還受逼迫呢？若是那樣，十字架之被看為信仰障礙不就早已除掉了麼！

弟兄們，如果我仍然傳講割禮，我為什麼還受逼迫呢？如果我這樣做，十字架使人絆腳的地方早就沒有了。

兄弟乎、若我尚宣割禮、何至猶見窘逐乎、若然、則十架之蹇礙已廢矣、

兄弟乎、若我言人當受割禮、何至今猶窘逐我乎、彼亦不厭十字架之道矣、

兄弟乎、若我仍傳割禮、何至尚受窘逐乎、若傳割禮、則十字架之道、不被人厭棄矣、

兄弟乎、苟我今猶鼓吹割禮、則何為尚受排擯耶？夫然則十字架亦不當復被視為眼中釘矣。

Brothers and sisters, if I am still preaching circumcision, why am I still being persecuted? In that case the offense of the cross has been abolished.

Brothers and sisters, I no longer preach that people must be circumcised. If I did, why am I still being opposed? If I preached that, then the cross wouldn’t upset anyone.

But if I, brothers, still preach circumcision, why am I still being persecuted? In that case the offense of the cross has been removed.

Dear brothers and sisters, if I were still preaching that you must be circumcised— as some say I do— why am I still being persecuted? If I were no longer preaching salvation through the cross of Christ, no one would be offended.

Now brothers and sisters, if I still preach circumcision, why am I still persecuted? In that case the offense of the cross has been abolished.

But as for me, brothers and sisters, if I still preach circumcision, why am I still persecuted? Then the stumbling block of the cross has been eliminated.

And I, brethren, if I still preach circumcision, why do I still suffer persecution? Then the offense of the cross has ceased.

But I, brethren, if I still preach circumcision, why am I still persecuted? then hath the stumbling- block of the cross been done away.

我们却是传被钉十字架的基督，这对犹太人是绊脚石，对外邦人是愚拙；

那些想要炫耀外表的人才勉强你们受割礼，无非是怕自己为基督的十字架受迫害。

当时，那按着肉体生的迫害了那按着圣灵生的，现在也是这样。

我们为什么要时刻冒险呢？

但跟我同去的提多，虽是希腊人，也没有勉强他受割礼；

他们曾听见人说，你教导所有在外邦的犹太人离弃摩西，对他们说，不要给孩子行割礼，也不要遵守规矩。

保罗要带他同去，只因那些地方的犹太人都知道他父亲是希腊人，就给他行了割礼。

主对我说：‘你去吧！我要差你到远方外邦人那里去。’”众人听他说到这句话，就高声说：“这样的人，从地上除掉他吧！他是该死的。”

他们是基督的用人吗？我说句狂话，我更是。我比他们忍受更多劳苦，坐过更多次监牢，受过无数次的鞭打，常常冒死。我被犹太人鞭打五次，每次四十减去一下；被棍打了三次，被石头打了一次，遭海难三次，一昼一夜在深海里挣扎。我又屡次行远路，遭江河的危险，盗贼的危险，同族人的危险，外族人的危险，城里的危险，旷野的危险，海中的危险，假弟兄的危险。

他必作为圣所，却向以色列的两家成为绊脚的石头，使人跌倒的磐石；作耶路撒冷居民的罗网和圈套。

从今以后，不要有人再搅扰我，因为我身上带着耶稣的印记。

喊着：“以色列人哪，来帮忙！这就是在各处教导众人糟蹋我们百姓、律法和这地方的人。不但如此，他还带了希腊人进圣殿，污秽了这圣地。”

这是什么缘故呢？是因为他们不凭着信心，而是凭着行为，他们正跌在那绊脚石上。就如经上所记：“我在锡安放一块绊脚的石头，使人跌倒的磐石；信靠他的人必不蒙羞。”

又说：“作了绊脚的石头，使人跌倒的磐石。”他们绊跌，因为不顺从这道，这也是预定的。不过，你们是被拣选的一族，是君尊的祭司，是神圣的国度，是属上帝的子民，要使你们宣扬那召你们出黑暗入奇妙光明者的美德。

因为十字架的道理，在那灭亡的人是愚拙，在我们得救的人却是上帝的大能。

参与这阴谋的有四十多人。他们来见祭司长和长老，说：“我们已经发了重誓，若不先杀保罗就什么也不吃。
