至於我呢、弟兄們，我若還在宣傳割禮，為甚麼還受逼迫呢？若是那樣，十字架之被看為信仰障礙不就早已除掉了麼！

弟兄們，如果我仍然傳講割禮，我為什麼還受逼迫呢？如果我這樣做，十字架使人絆腳的地方早就沒有了。

兄弟乎、若我尚宣割禮、何至猶見窘逐乎、若然、則十架之蹇礙已廢矣、

兄弟乎、若我言人當受割禮、何至今猶窘逐我乎、彼亦不厭十字架之道矣、

兄弟乎、若我仍傳割禮、何至尚受窘逐乎、若傳割禮、則十字架之道、不被人厭棄矣、

兄弟乎、苟我今猶鼓吹割禮、則何為尚受排擯耶？夫然則十字架亦不當復被視為眼中釘矣。

Dear brothers and sisters, if I were still preaching that you must be circumcised— as some say I do— why am I still being persecuted? If I were no longer preaching salvation through the cross of Christ, no one would be offended.

But as for me, brothers and sisters, if I still preach circumcision, why am I still persecuted? Then the stumbling block of the cross has been eliminated.

And I, brethren, if I still preach circumcision, why do I still suffer persecution? Then the offense of the cross has ceased.

And I, brethren, if I yet preach circumcision, why do I yet suffer persecution? then is the offence of the cross ceased.

Now, brothers and sisters, if I am still preaching circumcision, why am I still being persecuted? In that case the offense of the cross has been removed.

But I, brothers, if I still preach circumcision, why am I still persecuted? Then the stumbling block of the cross has been removed.

but we preach Christ crucified, a stumbling block to the Jews and foolishness to the Gentiles.

Those who want to make a good impression in the flesh are the ones who would compel you to be circumcised— but only to avoid being persecuted for the cross of Christ.

But just as then the child born according to the flesh persecuted the one born according to the Spirit, so also now.

Why are we in danger every hour?

But not even Titus who was with me, though he was a Greek, was compelled to be circumcised.

But they have been told about you that you teach all the Jews who are among the Gentiles to abandon Moses, by telling them not to circumcise their children or to walk in our customs.

Paul wanted Timothy to go with him, so he took him and circumcised him because of the Jews who were in those places, since they all knew that his father was a Greek.

“ Then He said to me,‘ Go, because I will send you far away to the Gentiles.’”They listened to him up to this word. Then they raised their voices, shouting,“ Wipe this person off the earth— it’s a disgrace for him to live!”

Are they servants of Christ? I’m talking like a madman— I’m a better one: with far more labors, many more imprisonments, far worse beatings, near death many times.Five times I received 39 lashes from Jews.Three times I was beaten with rods by the Romans. I have spent a night and a day in the open sea.On frequent journeys, I faced dangers from rivers, dangers from robbers, dangers from my own people, dangers from the Gentiles, dangers in the city, dangers in the open country, dangers on the sea, and dangers among false brothers;

He will be a sanctuary; but for the two houses of Israel, He will be a stone to stumble over and a rock to trip over, and a trap and a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

From now on, let no one cause me trouble, because I bear on my body scars for the cause of Jesus.

They stumble because they disobey the message; they were destined for this.But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for His possession, so that you may proclaim the praises of the One who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.

For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but it is God’s power to us who are being saved.

There were more than 40 who had formed this plot.These men went to the chief priests and elders and said,“ We have bound ourselves under a solemn curse that we won’t eat anything until we have killed Paul.
