今既知之、更為上帝所知、何反向劣弱空乏之小學、復欲為之役乎、

今識上帝更為上帝所識、奈何復向委靡卑狹之小學而從之乎、

今爾識天主、更為天主所識、奈何復向柔弱卑狹之賤質、欲再為其所束而為奴乎、

今爾已識天主、抑且為天主所識矣、何又返於支離瑣碎之蒙學、抱殘守缺、而甘為之奴乎？

But now that you know God— or rather are known by God— how is it that you are turning back to those weak and miserable forces? Do you wish to be enslaved by them all over again?

But now you know God. Even better, God knows you. So why are you turning back to those weak and worthless powers? Do you want to be slaves to them all over again?

But now that you have come to know God, or rather to be known by God, how can you turn back again to the weak and worthless elementary principles of the world, whose slaves you want to be once more?

So now that you know God( or should I say, now that God knows you), why do you want to go back again and become slaves once more to the weak and useless spiritual principles of this world?

But now that you have come to know God, or rather to be known by God, how is it that you turn back again to the weak and worthless elementary principles, to which you want to be enslaved all over again?

But now after you have known God, or rather are known by God, how is it that you turn again to the weak and beggarly elements, to which you desire again to be in bondage?

but now that ye have come to know God, or rather to be known by God, how turn ye back again to the weak and beggarly rudiments, whereunto ye desire to be in bondage over again?

But now, since you know God, or rather have become known by God, how can you turn back again to the weak and bankrupt elemental forces? Do you want to be enslaved to them all over again?

But if anyone loves God, he is known by him.

Are you so foolish? After beginning by the Spirit, are you now finishing by the flesh?

For what the law could not do since it was weakened by the flesh, God did. He condemned sin in the flesh by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh as a sin offering,

And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding so that we may know the true one. We are in the true one— that is, in his Son, Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.

For if, having escaped the world’s impurity through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in these things and defeated, the last state is worse for them than the first.

“ As for you, Solomon my son, know the God of your father, and serve him wholeheartedly and with a willing mind, for the LORD searches every heart and understands the intention of every thought. If you seek him, he will be found by you, but if you abandon him, he will reject you forever.

So the previous command is annulled because it was weak and unprofitable

But my righteous one will live by faith; and if he draws back, I have no pleasure in him.But we are not those who draw back and are destroyed, but those who have faith and are saved.

For God who said,“ Let light shine out of darkness,” has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of God’s glory in the face of Jesus Christ.

Nevertheless, God’s solid foundation stands firm, bearing this inscription: The Lord knows those who are his, and let everyone who calls on the name of the Lord turn away from wickedness.

I pray that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, would give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him.

For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the LORD’s glory, as the water covers the sea.

“ I am the good shepherd. I know my own, and my own know me,

This is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and the one you have sent— Jesus Christ.

No longer will one teach his neighbor or his brother, saying,‘ Know the LORD,’ for they will all know me, from the least to the greatest of them”— this is the LORD’s declaration.“ For I will forgive their iniquity and never again remember their sin.

For the LORD watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked leads to ruin.

then you will understand the fear of the LORD and discover the knowledge of God.

This is how we know that we know him: if we keep his commands.The one who says,“ I have come to know him,” and yet doesn’t keep his commands, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

The LORD answered Moses,“ I will do this very thing you have asked, for you have found favor with me, and I know you by name.”

For those he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, so that he would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters.

All things have been entrusted to me by my Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and anyone to whom the Son desires to reveal him.

Those who know your name trust in you because you have not abandoned those who seek you, LORD.

If you died with Christ to the elements of this world, why do you live as if you still belonged to the world? Why do you submit to regulations:“ Don’t handle, don’t taste, don’t touch”?All these regulations refer to what is destined to perish by being used up; they are human commands and doctrines.Although these have a reputation for wisdom by promoting self-made religion, false humility, and severe treatment of the body, they are not of any value in curbing self-indulgence.

My sheep hear my voice, I know them, and they follow me.

For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I will know fully, as I am fully known.

may you hear in heaven, your dwelling place, and do according to all the foreigner asks. Then all peoples of earth will know your name, to fear you as your people Israel do and to know that this temple I have built bears your name.

Come to your senses and stop sinning; for some people are ignorant about God. I say this to your shame.
