He came to set free those who were under the authority of the law. He wanted us to be adopted as children with all the rights children have.

They were singing a new song:“ You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals because you were killed, and at the cost of your own blood you have purchased for God persons from every tribe, language, people, and nation.

He gave himself for us to set us free from every kind of lawlessness and to purify for himself a people who are truly his, who are eager to do good.

In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace

For in Christ Jesus you are all sons of God through faith.

But to all who have received him– those who believe in his name– he has given the right to become God’s children

“ Blessed be the Lord God of Israel, because he has come to help and has redeemed his people.

Tell me, you who want to be under the law, do you not understand the law?

He delivered us from the power of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of the Son he loves,in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation,for all things in heaven and on earth were created by him– all things, whether visible or invisible, whether thrones or dominions, whether principalities or powers– all things were created through him and for him.He himself is before all things and all things are held together in him.He is the head of the body, the church, as well as the beginning, the firstborn from among the dead, so that he himself may become first in all things.For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in the Sonand through him to reconcile all things to himself by making peace through the blood of his cross– through him, whether things on earth or things in heaven.

For the creation eagerly waits for the revelation of the sons of God.

and live in love, just as Christ also loved us and gave himself for us, a sacrificial and fragrant offering to God.

who are Israelites. To them belong the adoption as sons, the glory, the covenants, the giving of the law, the temple worship, and the promises.

just as the Son of Man did not come to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

So you are no longer a slave but a son, and if you are a son, then you are also an heir through God.

Watch out for yourselves and for all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God that he obtained with the blood of his own Son.

The Son is the radiance of his glory and the representation of his essence, and he sustains all things by his powerful word, and so when he had accomplished cleansing for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.

Because Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, to bring you to God, by being put to death in the flesh but by being made alive in the spirit.

and they were singing a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and the elders. No one was able to learn the song except the one hundred and forty- four thousand who had been redeemed from the earth.
