For it is written, Rejoice, thou barren that bearest not; Break forth and cry, thou that travailest not: For more are the children of the desolate than of her that hath the husband.

因为经上记着：“不能生育、没有生产的女子啊，你要欢喜！没有经历临产阵痛的女子啊，你要放声呼喊！因为没有丈夫的女子，比有丈夫的女子有更多的儿女。”

因為經上記着：不懷孕、不生養的，你要歡樂；未曾經過產難的，你要高聲歡呼；因為沒有丈夫的，比有丈夫的兒女更多。

因為經上記着說：『你這不能生育、沒有生產過的啊，你歡樂哦！你這沒受過產難的啊，你突破靜寂而呼喊哦？因為淒涼獨居的婦人、比有丈夫的、兒女還多。』

因為經上記著：「不能生育、沒有生產的女子啊，你要歡喜！沒有經歷臨產陣痛的女子啊，你要放聲呼喊！因為沒有丈夫的女子，比有丈夫的女子有更多的兒女。」

記有之、不妊不產者宜喜樂、未劬勞者宜歡呼、蓋煢獨者較有夫者、子更多也、

經云、不妊不生之婦、最可樂、未劬勞之女、歡聲而呼、蓋棄婦較有夫之婦、生子多矣、

蓋經載云、爾不孕不生者、當喜樂、爾未劬勞者、當歡聲而呼、蓋被棄之婦、較有夫之婦、生子更多、

經有之：『不妊不育之婦乎、爾可揚眉而吐氣矣。未經劬勞之女乎、爾可引吭而歡呼矣。無夫者之兒女、將多於有夫之婦者矣。』

For it is written:“ Be glad, barren woman, you who never bore a child; shout for joy and cry aloud, you who were never in labor; because more are the children of the desolate woman than of her who has a husband.”

It is written,“ Be glad, woman, you who have never had children. Shout for joy and cry out loud, you who have never had labor pains. The woman who is all alone has more children than the woman who has a husband.”( Isaiah 54:1)

For it is written,“ Rejoice, O barren one who does not bear; break forth and cry aloud, you who are not in labor! For the children of the desolate one will be more than those of the one who has a husband.”

As Isaiah said,“ Rejoice, O childless woman, you who have never given birth! Break into a joyful shout, you who have never been in labor! For the desolate woman now has more children than the woman who lives with her husband!”

For it is written, Rejoice, childless woman, unable to give birth. Burst into song and shout, you who are not in labor, for the children of the desolate woman will be many, more numerous than those of the woman who has a husband.

For it is written:“ Rejoice, infertile one, you who do not give birth; Break forth and shout, you who are not in labor; For the children of the desolate one are more numerous Than those of the one who has a husband.”

For it is written:“ Rejoice, O barren, You who do not bear! Break forth and shout, You who are not in labor! For the desolate has many more children Than she who has a husband.”

For it is written: Rejoice, childless woman, who does not give birth. Burst into song and shout, you who are not in labor, for the children of the desolate are many, more numerous than those of the woman who has a husband.

He maketh the barren woman to keep house, And to be a joyful mother of children. Praise ye Jehovah.

And the women said unto Naomi, Blessed be Jehovah, who hath not left thee this day without a near kinsman; and let his name be famous in Israel.And he shall be unto thee a restorer of life, and a nourisher of thine old age, for thy daughter- in- law, who loveth thee, who is better to thee than seven sons, hath borne him.And Naomi took the child, and laid it in her bosom, and became nurse unto it.

They that were full have hired out themselves for bread; And they that were hungry have ceased to hunger: Yea, the barren hath borne seven; And she that hath many children languisheth.

And Absalom her brother said unto her, Hath Amnon thy brother been with thee? but now hold thy peace, my sister: he is thy brother; take not this thing to heart. So Tamar remained desolate in her brother Absalom’s house.

And Naomi said, Turn again, my daughters: why will ye go with me? have I yet sons in my womb, that they may be your husbands?Turn again, my daughters, go your way; for I am too old to have a husband. If I should say, I have hope, if I should even have a husband to- night, and should also bear sons;would ye therefore tarry till they were grown? would ye therefore stay from having husbands? nay, my daughters, for it grieveth me much for your sakes, for the hand of Jehovah is gone forth against me.

Now she that is a widow indeed, and desolate, hath her hope set on God, and continueth in supplications and prayers night and day.

Then shalt thou say in thy heart, Who hath begotten me these, seeing I have been bereaved of my children, and am solitary, an exile, and wandering to and fro? and who hath brought up these? Behold, I was left alone; these, where were they?
