豈今以直陳真理、而反開罪於爾耶？

Have I now become your enemy by telling you the truth?

They hate him who rebukes in the gate, And they despise him who speaks with integrity.

Do not rebuke a scoffer, or he will hate you; Rebuke a wise person and he will love you.

You were running well; who hindered you from obeying the truth?

But when I saw that they were not straightforward about the truth of the gospel, I said to Cephas in the presence of all,“ If you, being a Jew, live like the Gentiles and not like the Jews, how is it that you compel the Gentiles to live like Jews?

Because you have abandoned the Lord, He has also abandoned you.’ ”So they conspired against him, and at the command of the king they stoned him to death in the courtyard of the house of the Lord.So Joash the king did not remember the kindness which Zechariah’s father Jehoiada had shown him, but he murdered his son. And as Zechariah died he said,“ May the Lord see and avenge!”

and say,‘ This is what the king says:“ Put this man in prison, and feed him enough bread and water to survive until I return safely.” ’ ”

You foolish Galatians, who has bewitched you, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was publicly portrayed as crucified?This is the only thing I want to find out from you: did you receive the Spirit by works of the Law, or by hearing with faith?Are you so foolish? Having begun by the Spirit, are you now being perfected by the flesh?Did you suffer so many things in vain— if indeed it was in vain?
