Scripture foresaw that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, and announced the gospel in advance to Abraham:“ All nations will be blessed through you.”

Long ago, Scripture knew that God would make the Gentiles right with himself. He would do this by their faith in him. He announced the good news ahead of time to Abraham. God said,“ All nations will be blessed because of you.”( Genesis 12:3; 18:18; 22:18)

And the Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel beforehand to Abraham, saying,“ In you shall all the nations be blessed.”

What’s more, the Scriptures looked forward to this time when God would make the Gentiles right in his sight because of their faith. God proclaimed this good news to Abraham long ago when he said,“ All nations will be blessed through you.”

Now the Scripture saw in advance that God would justify the Gentiles by faith and proclaimed the gospel ahead of time to Abraham, saying, All the nations will be blessed through you.

所以我們認定，人稱義是因着信，不在於律法的行為。難道上帝只是猶太人的嗎？不也是外邦人的嗎？是的，他也是外邦人的上帝。既然上帝是一位，他就要本於信稱那受割禮的為義，也要藉着信稱那未受割禮的為義。

第七位天使吹號，天上就有大聲音說：「世上的國已成了我們的主和他所立的基督的國了。他要作王直到永永遠遠！」

因為的確有福音傳給我們像傳給他們一樣；只是所聽見的道對他們無益，因為他們沒有以信心與所聽見的道配合。

眾先知的話也與這意思相符合。正如經上所寫的：『此後，我要回來，重新修造大衛倒塌了的帳幕，從廢墟中重新修造，把它建立起來，使剩餘的人，就是凡稱我名的外邦人，都尋求主。這話是自古以來顯明這些事的主說的。』

權杖必不離猶大，統治者的杖必不離他兩腳之間，直等細羅來到，萬民都要歸順他。

但聖經把萬物都圈在罪裏，為要使因信耶穌基督而來的應許歸給信的人。

我必從雅各中領出後裔，從猶大中領出那要繼承我眾山的；我的選民要繼承它，我的僕人要在那裏居住。

我要使你的後裔增多，好像天上的星，又要將這一切的地賜給你的後裔，並且地上的萬國都必因你的後裔得福，

因為經上有話對法老說：「我將你興起來，特要在你身上彰顯我的權能，為要使我的名傳遍全地。」

亞伯拉罕必要成為強大的國；地上的萬國都必因他得福。

那些應許原是向亞伯拉罕和他後裔說的，並不是說「和眾後裔」，指許多人，而是說「和你那個後裔」，指一個人，就是基督。

你的後裔必像地上的塵沙，必向東西南北開展；地上萬族必因你和你的後裔得福。

信我的人，就如經上所說：『從他腹中將流出活水的江河來。』」

並且知道你從小明白聖經，這聖經能使你因在基督耶穌裏的信有得救的智慧。聖經都是上帝所默示的，於教訓、督責、使人歸正、教導人學義都是有益的，叫屬上帝的人得以完全，預備行各樣的善事。

這樣，我們要怎麼說呢？那不追求義的外邦人卻獲得了義，就是因信而獲得的義。

大衛指着他說：『我看見主常在我眼前，他在我右邊，使我不至於動搖。所以我心裏歡喜，我的舌頭快樂，而且我的肉身要安居在指望中。

然而經上是怎麼說的呢？是說：「把使女和她兒子趕出去！因為使女的兒子絕不能與自由婦人的兒子一同承受產業。」

在他的日子，公義要興旺，大有平安，除非月亮不在。

國內剩下的人若還有十分之一，也必被吞滅。然而如同大樹與橡樹，雖被砍伐，殘幹卻仍存留，聖潔的苗裔是它的殘幹。」

等我使你的仇敵作你的腳凳。』

經上不是說『基督是大衛的後裔，出自大衛的本鄉伯利恆』嗎？」

另有經文也說：「他們要仰望自己所扎的人。」
