Scripture foresaw that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, and announced the gospel in advance to Abraham:“ All nations will be blessed through you.”

Long ago, Scripture knew that God would make the Gentiles right with himself. He would do this by their faith in him. He announced the good news ahead of time to Abraham. God said,“ All nations will be blessed because of you.”( Genesis 12:3; 18:18; 22:18)

And the Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel beforehand to Abraham, saying,“ In you shall all the nations be blessed.”

What’s more, the Scriptures looked forward to this time when God would make the Gentiles right in his sight because of their faith. God proclaimed this good news to Abraham long ago when he said,“ All nations will be blessed through you.”

Now the Scripture saw in advance that God would justify the Gentiles by faith and proclaimed the gospel ahead of time to Abraham, saying, All the nations will be blessed through you.

所以我们认定，人称义是因着信，不在于律法的行为。难道上帝只是犹太人的吗？不也是外邦人的吗？是的，他也是外邦人的上帝。既然上帝是一位，他就要本于信称那受割礼的为义，也要藉着信称那未受割礼的为义。

第七位天使吹号，天上就有大声音说：“世上的国已成了我们的主和他所立的基督的国了。他要作王直到永永远远！”

因为的确有福音传给我们像传给他们一样；只是所听见的道对他们无益，因为他们没有以信心与所听见的道配合。

众先知的话也与这意思相符合。正如经上所写的：‘此后，我要回来，重新修造大卫倒塌了的帐幕，从废墟中重新修造，把它建立起来，使剩余的人，就是凡称我名的外邦人，都寻求主。这话是自古以来显明这些事的主说的。’

权杖必不离犹大，统治者的杖必不离他两脚之间，直等细罗来到，万民都要归顺他。

但圣经把万物都圈在罪里，为要使因信耶稣基督而来的应许归给信的人。

我必从雅各中领出后裔，从犹大中领出那要继承我众山的；我的选民要继承它，我的仆人要在那里居住。

我要使你的后裔增多，好像天上的星，又要将这一切的地赐给你的后裔，并且地上的万国都必因你的后裔得福，

因为经上有话对法老说：“我将你兴起来，特要在你身上彰显我的权能，为要使我的名传遍全地。”

亚伯拉罕必要成为强大的国；地上的万国都必因他得福。

那些应许原是向亚伯拉罕和他后裔说的，并不是说“和众后裔”，指许多人，而是说“和你那个后裔”，指一个人，就是基督。

你的后裔必像地上的尘沙，必向东西南北开展；地上万族必因你和你的后裔得福。

信我的人，就如经上所说：‘从他腹中将流出活水的江河来。’”

并且知道你从小明白圣经，这圣经能使你因在基督耶稣里的信有得救的智慧。圣经都是上帝所默示的，于教训、督责、使人归正、教导人学义都是有益的，叫属上帝的人得以完全，预备行各样的善事。

这样，我们要怎么说呢？那不追求义的外邦人却获得了义，就是因信而获得的义。

大卫指着他说：‘我看见主常在我眼前，他在我右边，使我不至于动摇。所以我心里欢喜，我的舌头快乐，而且我的肉身要安居在指望中。

然而经上是怎么说的呢？是说：“把使女和她儿子赶出去！因为使女的儿子绝不能与自由妇人的儿子一同承受产业。”

在他的日子，公义要兴旺，大有平安，除非月亮不在。

国内剩下的人若还有十分之一，也必被吞灭。然而如同大树与橡树，虽被砍伐，残干却仍存留，圣洁的苗裔是它的残干。”

等我使你的仇敌作你的脚凳。’

经上不是说‘基督是大卫的后裔，出自大卫的本乡伯利恒’吗？”

另有经文也说：“他们要仰望自己所扎的人。”
