Scripture foresaw that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, and announced the gospel in advance to Abraham:“ All nations will be blessed through you.”

Long ago, Scripture knew that God would make the Gentiles right with himself. He would do this by their faith in him. He announced the good news ahead of time to Abraham. God said,“ All nations will be blessed because of you.”( Genesis 12:3; 18:18; 22:18)

And the Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel beforehand to Abraham, saying,“ In you shall all the nations be blessed.”

What’s more, the Scriptures looked forward to this time when God would make the Gentiles right in his sight because of their faith. God proclaimed this good news to Abraham long ago when he said,“ All nations will be blessed through you.”

Now the Scripture saw in advance that God would justify the Gentiles by faith and proclaimed the gospel ahead of time to Abraham, saying, All the nations will be blessed through you.

因为我们坚信人被称为义人是借着信，不是靠遵行律法。难道上帝只是犹太人的上帝吗？祂不也是外族人的上帝吗？祂当然也是外族人的上帝。因为上帝只有一位，祂本着信称受割礼的人为义人，也本着信称未受割礼的人为义人。

第七位天使吹响号角的时候，天上有大声音说：“世上的国度现在已经属于我们的主和祂所立的基督了。祂要做王，直到永永远远。”

因为我们和他们一样听到了福音，只是他们听了道后没有凭信心领受，结果没有得到益处。

这完全与众先知的话相符，正如圣经上说，“‘此后，我要回来重建已倾覆的大卫王朝，将它从废墟中重建、恢复，好叫其余的百姓，就是凡归在我名下的外族人都寻求主。’这是上帝说的，祂从亘古就显明了这事。

王权必不离犹大，御杖必伴他左右，直到那位执掌王权的来到，万民都必归顺他。

但圣经说万物都在罪的权势下，为要使那些相信的人因为相信耶稣基督而得到应许。

“我必使雅各的后裔兴起，使犹大人兴起，继承我的群山。我拣选的子民必拥有那片土地，我的仆人必在那里安居。

我必使你的后代多如繁星，将这些土地都赐给他们，天下万国必因你的后裔而蒙福。

圣经记载着上帝对法老说的话：“我使你兴起是为了在你身上彰显我的权能，使我的名传遍天下。”

亚伯拉罕必成为强盛的大国，世上万国必因他而蒙福。

上帝曾向亚伯拉罕和他的后裔赐下应许，不过这里没有说“后裔们”——指许多人，而是说“你的后裔”——指一个人，就是基督。

你的后代必多如地上的尘沙，遍布四方，地上万族必因你和你的后代而蒙福。

正如圣经所言，信我的人，‘从他里面要流出活水的江河来’。”

并且你从小就熟悉圣经。圣经能给你智慧，使你借着信基督耶稣得到拯救。圣经全部是上帝启示的，有益于教导、督责、使人归正、培养人行义，使属上帝的人得到充分的装备，去行各种善事。

这样看来，我们该说什么呢？本来不追求义的外族人却因信而得到了义。

论到耶稣，大卫曾说，“‘我看见主常在我面前，祂在我右边，我必不动摇。因此我的心欢喜，我的口颂赞，我的身体也要活在盼望中。

但圣经上怎么说呢？圣经上说：“赶走婢女和她的儿子，因为婢女的儿子不能与主母的儿子一同承受产业。”

在他统治之下，愿义人兴旺，国富民强，如月长存。

即使境内只剩下十分之一的人，也必被消灭。然而，就像砍掉松树和橡树后必留下树墩，这地方必有圣洁的苗裔存留下来。”

等我使你的仇敌成为你的脚凳。’

圣经上不是说基督是大卫的后裔，要降生在大卫的故乡伯利恒吗？”

“他们要仰望自己所刺的那位。”
