For as many as are of the works of the law are under a curse. For it is written,“ Cursed is everyone who doesn’t continue in all things that are written in the book of the law, to do them.”

若夫徒恃律法者、則實處於咒咀之下。經不云乎：『凡不遵行律法之一切規定者、應服咒詛。』

For all who rely on the works of the law are under a curse, as it is written:“ Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law.”

All who depend on obeying the law are under a curse. It is written,“ May everyone who doesn’t continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law be under God’s curse.”( Deuteronomy 27:26)

For all who rely on works of the law are under a curse; for it is written,“ Cursed be everyone who does not abide by all things written in the Book of the Law, and do them.”

But those who depend on the law to make them right with God are under his curse, for the Scriptures say,“ Cursed is everyone who does not observe and obey all the commands that are written in God’s Book of the Law.”

because the mind of the flesh is hostile toward God; for it is not subject to God’s law, neither indeed can it be.

Now we know that whatever things the law says, it speaks to those who are under the law, that every mouth may be closed, and all the world may be brought under the judgment of God.Because by the works of the law, no flesh will be justified in his sight; for through the law comes the knowledge of sin.

But if you show partiality, you commit sin, being convicted by the law as transgressors.For whoever keeps the whole law, and yet stumbles in one point, he has become guilty of all.For he who said,“ Do not commit adultery,” also said,“ Do not commit murder.” Now if you do not commit adultery, but murder, you have become a transgressor of the law.

and say to them, Yahweh, the God of Israel says:‘ Cursed is the man who doesn’t hear the words of this covenant,

For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

yet knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, even we believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ, and not by the works of the law, because no flesh will be justified by the works of the law.

For the law produces wrath, for where there is no law, neither is there disobedience.

Yahweh will not pardon him, but then Yahweh’s anger and his jealousy will smoke against that man, and all the curse that is written in this book will fall on him, and Yahweh will blot out his name from under the sky.

Behold, I set before you today a blessing and a curse:the blessing, if you listen to the commandments of Yahweh your God, which I command you today;and the curse, if you do not listen to the commandments of Yahweh your God, but turn away out of the way which I command you today, to go after other gods which you have not known.

Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine. The soul who sins, he shall die.

Then he will say also to those on the left hand,‘ Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire which is prepared for the devil and his angels;

I was alive apart from the law once, but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died.The commandment which was for life, this I found to be for death;for sin, finding occasion through the commandment, deceived me, and through it killed me.Therefore the law indeed is holy, and the commandment holy, and righteous, and good.Did then that which is good become death to me? May it never be! But sin, that it might be shown to be sin, was producing death in me through that which is good; that through the commandment sin might become exceedingly sinful.

He spoke also this parable to certain people who were convinced of their own righteousness, and who despised all others.“ Two men went up into the temple to pray; one was a Pharisee, and the other was a tax collector.The Pharisee stood and prayed to himself like this:‘ God, I thank you that I am not like the rest of men, extortionists, unrighteous, adulterers, or even like this tax collector.I fast twice a week. I give tithes of all that I get.’But the tax collector, standing far away, wouldn’t even lift up his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying,‘ God, be merciful to me, a sinner!’

Therefore I will profane the princes of the sanctuary; and I will make Jacob a curse, and Israel an insult.”
