For all who rely on the works of the law are under a curse, as it is written:“ Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law.”

All who depend on obeying the law are under a curse. It is written,“ May everyone who doesn’t continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law be under God’s curse.”( Deuteronomy 27:26)

For all who rely on works of the law are under a curse; for it is written,“ Cursed be everyone who does not abide by all things written in the Book of the Law, and do them.”

But those who depend on the law to make them right with God are under his curse, for the Scriptures say,“ Cursed is everyone who does not observe and obey all the commands that are written in God’s Book of the Law.”

For all who rely on the works of the law are under a curse, because it is written, Everyone who does not do everything written in the book of the law is cursed.

For all who are of works of the Law are under a curse; for it is written:“ Cursed is everyone who does not abide by all the things written in the book of the Law, to do them.”

『「不堅信這律法的話而遵行的、必受咒詛」；眾民都要說：「阿們。」

因為肉體的意念跟上帝為敵，不順服於上帝之律法，也實在不能順服：

我們曉得、律法無論說甚麼，都是向律法以內的人講的，好堵住每一個人的口，使全世界的人都伏在上帝審判之下；所以血肉人在上帝面前、都不能由律法上的行為得稱為義：因為由於律法、人才認識罪。

不過你們若是以貌取人，便是犯罪，被律法定為犯法的人了。因為凡遵守全律法、而在一件事上失腳的、就有全部罪責了。因為那說『不可姦淫』的、也說『不可殺人』；你若不姦淫，卻殺人，你還是犯法的。

對他們說：永恆主以色列的上帝這麼說：那不聽從這約之話的人必受咒詛：

因為罪的工價即是死，然而上帝的恩賜乃是永生、於我們的主基督耶穌裏。

我們知道人稱義不是由於行律法，無非是憑着信基督耶穌而已；那麼、我們自己也就信了基督耶穌，好叫我們可以由信基督、而不由於行律法、得稱為義；因為血肉之人無論如何都不能由行律法得稱為義。

因為律法能使上帝的義怒起作用；哪裏沒有律法，哪裏就沒有犯法的事。

但是永恆主必不情願赦免這種人，永恆主的怒氣和妒憤反而要向這種人冒煙，而這書上所寫的這一切咒詛就都要伏在那人身上；永恆主又要將他的名從天下塗抹掉。

『看哪，我今日把祝福與咒詛擺在你們面前。祝福呢，你們若聽從永恆主你們的上帝的誡命、就是我今日所吩咐你們的，你們就必蒙祝福；咒詛呢，你們若不聽從永恆主你們的上帝的誡命，反而偏離了我今日所吩咐你們走的道路，去隨從你們素來所不認識的別的神，你們就必受咒詛。

看哪，世人都是屬我的：為父的人怎樣屬我，為子的人也怎樣屬我：只有犯罪的人、才必須死。

那時王也必對那在左邊的說：「被咒詛的人哪，離開我，去進入那給魔鬼和他的使者所豫備的永世之火裏去。

從前在律法以外、我活着；誡命一來到，罪活了起來，我就死了。那本來要叫人活的誡命、我見得倒是叫人死的，因為罪趁着機會、藉着誡命、誘惑了我，藉着誡命殺死了我。所以律法是聖的，誡命也是聖的，是義的，又是善的。那麼善是在我身上生出死來麼？斷乎不是。不，是罪，罪為要顯明它是罪，便藉着善在我身上造出死來，叫罪藉着誡命顯出它是有罪到極點的。

耶穌也對那些倚靠自己為義、而藐視其他的人的、講這一個比喻。『有兩個人上殿裏去禱告，一個是法利賽人，另一個是收稅人。那法利賽人站着，用以下這些話禱告說：「上帝啊，我感謝你，我不像其他的人、勒索、不義、姦淫，或者竟像這個收稅人。我每安息週禁食兩次；凡所賺得的，我納上十分之一。」那收稅人卻遠遠地站着，連舉目望天也不敢，只捶着胸膛說：「上帝啊，開恩憐憫我這個罪人哦！」

我便讓聖所的高職員被辱沒，使雅各被毁滅歸神，使以色列成為毁謗的話柄。
